Even if you get rid of the weapon soon after without really using it the value you can get from the 3 cheap recruits and a Knife Juggler hits or boost from Sword of Justice or just filling up the board is good enough for the mana cost.
Finally a way to see Paladin back up into the Light!
The problem with this card is that when I play any version of paladin I find TSC to almost always be the best turn 4 play, meaning the weapon gets at most one swing.
I think it's obvious they added the weapon to the spell to prevent Sword of Justice shenanigans. IMO that is
It's kind of inhibiting it, but I can see it working since you only need to summon 1 minion before you use muster for battle since you can also attack and use up the rest of the durability.

WOW! Extremely good card, i'm surprised that it's just rare, it might as well go as epic card. You got more than double mana value ( 7 mana worth for 3 mana), and there's a lot of combos with a lot of both paladin and neutral cards. And what is really good is that this card will work well in both control and aggro archetypes of decks. In control deck, you got some nice early board control against aggro decks (in contranst to Paladin second 3 drop, Peacekeeper, who is good vs control), and in aggro deck you got all those little fuckers to combo them in various ways you guys already mentioned.
imainge harrison jones can destroy your own weapon.
You mean, "Imagine if Harrison Jones could destroy your own weapon"? I think Lord Jaraxxus would be cutting off his own hands for six, seven or even eight cards! Soulfires! HJ+ Light's Justice would be new meta.
I like this card, i think it breeds its own weenie build. I think it is problematic that it has negative interactions with TSC though, so I think you would want to forgo that for something way more aggressive, like an all in shockadin build
I was thinking exactly that! Maybe with some of the cards "yet to be show" give us the possibility of a tempo Paladin. Looks like blizzard want Pally to be an weenie soldie deck from MtG.
turn 3 this card + turn 4 coin + frostwolf warlord, its a 7/7 on turn 4, and if its gets silence or other removal, tirion will do a great job later, looks like a combo that can happens very easily
I really like it!

Pretty good value to look at it. Only issue is that it doesn't synergize well with turn 4 True Silver.

Ah. Looks like I was wrong. I am a happy Pally right now.
Wut? Why? Turn 4 = Truesilver Champion and attack. Turn 5 = Attack, then Knife Juggler then Muster for Battle? No waste of the TSC.

Seems born to run with Knife Juggler
Feel free to add me if you play on NA! iMPose#1429

Here is my idea for a Deck with this.
Shockadin will back to meta?
like it !

best 3 drop in the game. this is exactly what paladin needed to see play. now lets hope they get a good 2 drop.
I don't particularly like it because I like control better than agro, but it could be a userful card.

turn two hero power
turn three Muster for Battle
turn four Enhance-o Mechano
*pray for divine shield buffs*
turn five Blood Knight
i prefer handlock over zoo.
