People, please read carefully. It says "Obtain" in the card text. There is no ambiguity here.
The English text at the top of the thread is a translation of the Spanish text. It's not the literal English text that Blizzard is going to print on the English version of the card.
"obtiene" may *sound* like "obtain" but it is not literally that word. In any case, the problem is not the verb, it's the conjugation. It's not clear whether the card doing the "obtaining" is the Guardian or the other Mech. The person who did the localization was either being very terse or else that person was not a native speaker and was using a less-than-accurate machine translator.
You're claiming that the card may not have been translated correctly after it has been proven to have been translated correctly? That's bold, man.
My crude Spanish skills at first led to be to think that this gave divine shield to all other mechs/minions. But now that it's revealed to just give itself shield I'd say that yet again, paladin got pooped on
So, we're back to square one. (Though, I'd say that if a Spanish speaker can't read the card and understand clearly what it does that it proves that it *is* a bad translation, heh.)
I like the ability. I dislike the initial fragility. I dunno. I'd have to think about how to use this. It's not like Ancestor's Call where I look at it and start thinking of decks I want to build around it.
This card is seriously cool if dropped on curve with a harvest golem already on the board - you trade off the harvest golem and get a divine shield on the 6/3

It's a bad translation if it conveys the exact same meaning as the spanish version? I think that you're confused, sir.
Drop this plus Muster for battle on turn 9, with buffs in hand?
What would this combo do other than give you a vanilla 6/3, 3 1/1's and a Light's Justice? Silverhand Recruits aren't mechs, so they don't synergize with this card at all.
Well, it itself is a mech. If it gives itself a Divine Shield when first summoned, I'd say this card is pretty good. If not, I'd say it's lackluster. I somehow doubt it triggers after it's own summoning but it is a possibility.
Edit: Apparently he doesn't give himself a Divine Shield when first summoned, so he has to be combo'd. I feel this is pretty bad. It's a nice concept for paladin mech synergy but of the class specific 'mech synergy' cards, I feel this one is the weakest revealed yet. Source: https://twitter.com/bdbrode/status/535129904191270912

Hah! Yeah, duh. thanks, forgot about the mech part.
Well, mana wise divine shield is valued at +3 health, so it's (kind of) like a 6/6 for 5 maybe? You should probably say it's a Lightspawn for paladins. Useful in some situations, but certainly not all.

if the card actually came with divine shield, maybe, but alas it does not so it's like a Reckless Rocketeer without charge

Has it been proven? Not that I disbelieve you but what proof are you referring to?

5/4 would be more preferable than 6/3 but pretty solid consider the divine shield passive.

Wow, this is terrible. Just terrible. Does someone somewhere just really hate Paladins?
