Absolutely insane. I can see a 2 mana 2/2 drawing a tempo mage a whole freaking new hand past turn 7+. This thing puts divine favor to shame.
You know you need to play the spells in the same turn rigth?, and for tempo mage still have that much of cards in that stage of the game means that they are not wining by the "tempo" way?

The exact same way that tempo mage used to play when flamewaker was around - storing up a bunch of cheap spells to combo in one turn with apprentice and flamewaker was something that often happened, and it's well worth doing with this card too. If you didn't draw the nuts with mana wyrm openings (which no longer exists anyway) you did have to bide time until you could put out an explosive turn. Since tempo mage lost flamewaker, it was pretty much riding off the back of T1 mana wyrm and T3 kirin tor+secret.
There's a ton of 1 mana spells (0 on apprentice turns) that are highly usable in tempo mage - missiles, tome, mirror image, shooting star and the new ray of frost suddenly looks viable because of this.
Double Evocation + double this + normal 1-drop? LETS FUCKIN GO, BOIS
That's a synergy, but it's not worth it on turn 1, since you basically replacing Evocations, spells that you put in your deck with some random spells, most likely some crappy ones.
5/5 or better in stats on turn 1 in exchange for one card is not worth it?
Lemme introduce you to a little friend of mine called Tempo.
Well that's tempo. You need 5 cards for such tempo to happen and you are stuck with 2 cards left. Well dream scenario is 2x evocations, 2x of these, coin and a 1 drop from topdeck or any of the cards mentioned before. You gain tempo and refill hand, but that's a really rare scenario. But yeah you can compare it to Flame imp, Voodoo Doctor, Happy Ghoul opening.
You don't need to use the coin. Both Mana Cyclones will be free. IMO even getting a single 2/2 in addition to a 1-drop on turn 1 is the highest tempo in Mage we're likely going to see for a long time.
The scenario you mentioned needs 5 cards, so that only can happen on turn 1 if you go second. Going second you have a coin, which is also a spell, so each Elemental will get you 3 spells, 6 in total. So you get a big tempo swing and refill your hand, but that will be extremely rare.
You can't play both invocation before first elemental. so 5 spells. Goldfish is coin kill enemy minion with ray of frost invocation cyclon invocation cyclon ends with 9 random spells in hand. It is 1 chance from 3 million.

and you know most os those are non face damage cards rigth?, neing the most of the spells you can get reactive things, there are just 5 spells on the entire poll for mage that can make face damage and that can maybe be useful in some cases, all the others are boardclears and things that can only target minions, mage doesn't have that much burn damage like that time when flamewaker existed, or eben the mana wtrn and the year of the kraken. Since most likely spells you can get are defensive tools this is pretty bad for an agro card.
You're looking at one of the most busted cards in a long time. Cabalist's Tome is turning in the grave. Every Mage will be running at least one of these for a late game value generator and it costs less than half the mana of Tome, plus probably double the spells and you get a 2/2 body. Pure cancer, no skill card that makes Hearthstone more of a joke. This will be even dumber shit in Arena.
This is a completely different card than Tome. I don't understand the comparison you're making. This is more Lyra than Tome.
Tome was used as a value generator in Mid to Late game. This Cyclone will be used in the exact same way. It's the exact same card, except Cyclone is 10X more busted. You can easily draw double the cards for half the mana cost and you get the body. You don't play this on turn 2. You play it on turn 10+.
Tome was a value card that you could put in any control mage deck. This card has a lot more opportunity cost and deckbuilding / deck slot cost. Im not saying its worse than Tome, but unlike the Tome you have to build your deck around it, much like you have to build around Lyra. So I think Lyra is a better comparsion.
Being able to run 2 is a lot more impactful than people think. Playing your Ray of Frost and it's twinspell, then 2 Mana Cyclones, is 6 Mana for decent bodies/effects and 4 spells. Toss in am Evocation and it's 4 Mana for 4/4 in stats and some freeze/damage alongside 6 spells.
Sorcery aprendice new best friend, even x2 bananas turn into something scary in the explosive turn 4.
Keep your cheap spell, play the 2/2 minion in turn 3 to get bananas, turn 4 play Sorcerer, twin spells, bananas and any other 1 mana spell you have and this new minion, full hand of spells and something decent in the board in turn 4.

It’ll be more like Rhok’delar than Lyra I think. It’s not like you’ll be able to go off like you could with Lyra and keep making spells to get burn etc. You’ll either end up with garbage in your hand or some great value.
Not sure you’ll be able to stay alive long enough to wait until turn ten, empty your hand of cheap, poor to average spells and then drop this...
This is definitely not a cancerous ‘no skill’ card in standard but I can see how it could make tempo mage stronger in wild.

Auctioneer is bad for aggro :P

I totaly agreed. This card will be glorious cheap way for tempo decks.
Always F2P not P2W !
Right - but it's not necessarily bad for Burn.
If you're pointing cards at face, may as well draw new cards.
