Isn't that completely fair, though. I mean, on 10 mana, a deck should be allowed to have some way to win. And this one is about as interactive as they come.
Yes it does allow for interaction, that's not my frustration with the card. Clearing a board of large health minions is not easy for most decks. This is the Wall Priest's win condition. I spend all game trying to keep any minion off the board for Priest because if they stick 1 minion, they could easily win the next turn. Then they play this card and now I have to kill 3 minions, when 1 was hard enough.
I am ok with this card because its 9 mana, and some of the good cards are rotating too. So this SHOULD be a fair card and it will end up being the deck's win condition. I just hope they dont replace any of the other resurrect cards that made it all the more frustrating to play against.
HAHAHAHA. Just when you thought that Big/Resurrect priest is gone. Velen and Maly will stay in the game after all.
yay, so now we get to summon both Maly and velen for 9-mana as opposed to just Maly, which let's us deal a whopping 14 DAMAGE with Holy Smite. Truly the darkest timeline
I agree this feels like out of ideas ^^. It´s a worse version of what we had in the past. I am fine with it. You can´t expect that 80+% have some totally new ideas.
Ok angry reactions aside, this isn't as stupid as it looks. 1) It's three minions for nine mana, not four for seven (which means to guarantee a good res, you have to be a lot more picky about what you play, if OTK is the goal). 2) Radiant rotates out, so assuming we don't get a replacement, Turn 9 OTK won't be possible. 3) At 9 mana, you can't really do anything else in the same turn, so if OTK is the goal, your opponent will almost always have a turn to respond.
If anything, this makes Wall Priest stronger.
Nobody would this shit over oakheart.
Oakheart is from Kobolds, which is rotating.
And so is every resurrect spell. Do you really think a single card can carry Wall Priest ? BTW did I mention that this can resurrect small minions like Cleric three times. It is considerably worse than Spellstone and can't be used reliably for any combo deck or any deck with Barnes.
This is more like N'zoth or Gul'dan for summoning DR minions in a control or value deck.

I wasn't aware this could resurrect cards you don't have in your deck and didn't play. That does make it significantly worse.

Hey, I didn't say anything about getting nuked from nowhere. As mentioned above, priests lose Radiant Elemental and Shadow Visions, but don't tell me that dealing with Maly and Velen for several turns won't be annoying. People can't afford to leave them untouched for a single turn, else they might die.
I admit, that I overreacted a bit in my previous post, because due to the rotation priests are forced to run more cheap minions in their deck, in order to cycle, which will worsen the outcome of Mass Resurrection. But if someone manages to highroll or if there is an optimal list for that archtype, then people will get mad for facing Ress Priest again. Still, the devs mentioned that we will see a reprint of Dirty Rat, so things are not all that bad.

Every Wall Priest runs Cleric and Tar Creeper. Play the game bro.

This just asks the question, "Is consistent Resurrection better than early game card draw/board contention?" If the meta is slow enough (which, with Hunter losing most of its powerful tools and Odd Paladin/Odd Rogue going away, it may very well be), you won't care or need to run Cleric and can go for a more consistent Res. If the meta is too fast or if combo is still super strong, then Wall Priest probably won't be good enough and you can just run a more standard Control Priest, and Mass Resurrection won't be needed.
On a side note, you can make changes to your deck and Tar Creeper is also rotating to Wild. Play the game bro.

Spellstones are rotating out and so this is basically a replacement card for it in standard.
That's the problem, dude, we don't want replacements for stuff rotating to Wild. We want new, viable and creative cards, with the potential to allow us to build new and interesting decks or even to improve weak existing ones.

Such design, such originality, such effort. No.

Btw
Blizz: "Standard will always feel new and refreshing"
Priest: "wow"
better spell stone
Boring card is boring

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

Just when u thought it was safe to play wild lol here more power for it lol.
It doesnt require you to play 4 spells while holding it in yout hand. Or 8 for 4 man rez. Its also much better on top deck
If you have a deck idea might as well go full ham on it.

RIP Barnes. Obviously Blizzard is doing something to the big priest in Wild now
Petition for Jaina's boobs to return please. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

This is spellstone with 1 upgrade for 2 more mana.
