I just think it's hilarious that there are people who see two Paladin cards and suddenly come to the conclusion that Paladin will be completely unplayable.
This card seems to be ok; it will probably be playable if the Dragon archetype works out. I kinda wish it were a 3/3, especially since the dragons it gives you are 4 cost 4/4s, but maybe I'm undervaluing the card generation. On the plus side, playing this on turn 3 will probably let you trade and guarantee a 4-drop on turn 4.
3 mana 3/2 is bad, 4 mana 4/4 is bad. Its just pure vanilla stat value card and a horrible tempo card. And tempo comes first and foremost so this is a bad card.
Hey odd pally we really respect your brainless opinion. Stay in touch.
Bad -> right now! -> Value but nothing more... no gamebreaking thing but who knows the support
WTF? a 4 cost 3/2 minion with combo requirement to draw x2 minions see a lot of play, why you think a 3 manas one will don't?
Lol, you don’t wanna compare this to the Rouge card that thinns your deck and gets you highly efficient tempocards, instead of two minions that do nothing, do ya?
( Btw , this being a deathrattle is also not completely irrelevant. If Priests get another combo archetype, they might just leave this up and steal it later)
I think it's interesting that you can pretty reasonably curve something like:
Gargoyle>Herald>Twilight Drake>Speaker>7/7 & 6/5> reload with 7/7 & something else big
That's not the world's worst curve. I don't know if it's "enough" against a very aggressive deck, but it will give a slow deck problems.
Yeah, I guess it all depends if Paladin is getting this time some kind of finisher, or bonus effect like taunt or rush. Just hoping for a buffed Ysera or Alex to finish, seems unrealistic.
But i still have hopes for a little more support incoming, since this is the year of the Dragon.

A finisher would be nice, but there's also the chance that just big buffed dudes are enough. I don't know if you'd want it, but glowstone technician is still around for some redundancy.
As I was just sort of looking around, card draw looks like it could be an issue. Crystology doesn't look like it does much for a deck like this, and Lay on Hands feels gross in a deck with an otherwise midrange curve.
But I think you're right. It's year of the Dragon. We are bound to see more dragons.

4/4 for 4 that can become a 7/7 for 4,you need to look at the whole picture first.
I am looking at the whole picture. You play 3 mana 3/2, then you play 4 mana 4/4, then you play 5 mana 3/5, by the time you play your 4 mana 7/7 you lost all tempo, well behind on board and your face is smashed to bits, you have no effective way to come back on board as paladin now and you are ready to concede. That's the whole picture.

Tempo comes first in an aggro deck, which this obviously isn't. Bronze Herald is reasonable tempo and insane value. Plenty of decks work on value over tempo -- it's fine as long as you have a way to stabilize. I'm pretty sure Paladin can find a way to stabilize.
3 mana 3/2 is reasonable tempo? Absolutely not. Yeah plenty of decks work on value over tempo, you know the ones that have effective board clears and removal and it just happens that Paladin doesn't have those anymore. Paladin is not a control class anymore and if it was any good at control right now, Holy Wrath paladin would be the archetype to go, not this dragon control paladin, you people speak of here.
Yes this card might be good in slower matchups and that is all, against aggro or midrange this kind of tempo loss will lead to autoloses pretty much.
So they get 4 4 mana 7/7 or 9/9. Has blizzard not learned from flame wreathed faceless?
edit. 10/10
such salt much BM.

Now with some deathrattle triggers it would be a beast. This card is incredible.
Busted in arena.

tempo is just bad, but value is awesome
i think it fits more a heavy control paly than a midrange version... with ysera, silver sword, maybe lay on hands...
also, the gargoyle has a really good tempo to catch up
Since I'm a wild player I'm excited to try out Dragon Paladin. Not sure about standard though.
I think this card will single handedly allow a dragon paladin deck to be viable
Wrong. It's a Dragon so it automatically synergises lol. You want it to give +1/+1 to Divine Shield minions as well or what?

That's some value. It comes at a tempo cost but the value is amazing.

Im not sure if this cards can be good in standard. But that Arena value, is absolute awesome.

Very good because you don't even have to run the dragon package to get value from it, plus it's a common card!
