Seems trash to me. Too much of the “good” stuff being mentioned seems to be very niche or best case scenario.
To be any good (better than holy light) it has to heal for more than 6 or least force your opponent to waste damage on the minion you put it on. Sure some synergies are out there but don’t seem strong enough. 2 mana for a bit of healing seems very weak. This require a minion on the board that can actually attack or have taunt to make any impact. It has zero tempo and little value. Twinspell does make it a bit better but not enough IMO.
Control decks are the only ones interested in this type of card and most of those play very few minions. So no sorry don’t see it.
pyromancer, prelate, baron gedon (doesn't seem like a paladin fit but who knows) but most importantly:
If you are in a pinch you can cast this and still keep the other half for the minion you intend it to (seems like imortal prelate mostly) Surely this will be a one-off in buff decks which I hope get a little more support since so many good buffs are rotating. Not meta-defining at all but for these specific decks (that won't be tier 1 or even tier 2) this is a good card
For now there is no use at all for this card except for Immortal Prelate. Without prelates in your deck you pick Flash of Light every single time over this card.
Healing has not been a real issue for paladin and this one is slow and most of all: INCONSISTANT!
You can‘t use this as an emergency heal when you are behind on board. It‘s a „win more“ card against aggro to push them out of the game for good but as long as you don’t get the bord, this card is trash.
It may be an okay support for a heal paladin but this decktype will probably be too dependant of turn 3 Thekal.
Some disclaimers:
- Lightforged blessing + Baron Gedon: seems great but it‘s a one time combo including a legendary. Not sure that this is enough to Support this card
- LB + wild pyro + ring the bells: 3 card combos have to be insane to be good. This one is not.
- LB + Glass Knight: Aktually not that Bad! But then again, hard removal is allways a thing.
Not sure that this will be enough for heal paladin. But who knows, the meta in general seems pretty weak right now! It would counter bomb warrior :P
Bad card. If aggro is good you don't have time to waste 2 mana for zero tempo. Dead card against control/combo. You already have plenty of tools to heal in a midrange matchup. Don't see why anybody should want this.
This is a card that does pretty much nothing. And such cards usually find no space in any decks. You need to combo it with something to gain value from it, so it is more practical to just play a lifesteal/heal card instead of this. So in the end it is not a tempo card that just wastes a card slot. Bad card.
This card is just good, there isn't much to say. Twinspell really saves the card, allowing you to waste only 1 deck slot for it.
Twinspell saves the card? So you wanna say 2 mana give a minion lifesteal is fair price? Give a minion lifesteal should be worth 0 or 1 mana on a card. But just cause it is a twinspell it gets a penalty and becomes 2 mana. So yeah you are paying for you Twinspell and a card slot with tempo.
This card is awesome in a control paladin deck... in the endgame you can put a big minion on the board and give it lifesteal to heal you up pretty much, imagine doing this with 4! minions...
Also there are lots of combo potentials with this card like Glass knight allready mentioned, Immortal Prelate, Baron Geddon and im sure there are also some cards unknown in wild that will be playable with this card...

Tempo? What's tempo ? This is for control decks, Wild Pyro, Prelate, Tirion, etc.
And yes for this type of very low impact effect, I'd rather pay 2 mana and 1 card slot, than 1 mana and 2 card slots, because it's such a situational effect (anti aggro or save a turn, basically a tech card), that I don't want to run 2 in my deck, but I will gladly cast it on 2 minions.
Wouldn't you pay 3 mana for the Ooze or 4 mana for the Gluttonous ooze if it was a "twin minion"? I think I would.
This spell would work great in warrior or hunter with minions that can do damage to adjacent minions. This seems like an arena card because it has 2 spells in 1 card. But is that spell good enough for Standard?
I don't think so. It's decent enough, but I dont think I am going to put 2 in any of my paladin decks. 1 is a maybe, but depends on what Paladin gets to support this.
Heal in the early turns does nothing against control. Against aggro, they just kill the minion by trading first, then go face. This card is best AFTER you lost life. So far the best uses are Wild Pyro, Prelate and Baron. That to me is how I would end up using it, as a combo piece of some sort.
At first I thought: no way it s worth a card slot.
however forbidden healing saw serious play, so I had to think a little harder.
Then I realised how flexible the card was. With pyro you can clear and heal. With prelate you re basically setting up a permanent health gain like the old Kingsbane rogue. You can justify playing geddon as an anti aggro tech. And even if you have to waste it to survive one more turn, you get a duplicate immediately.
I think it s a good card for control paly. Doesn't mean the deck will be viable, or viable immediately, but definitely a card to consider.
Looks like blizz wants paladin to go back to buffing.
It's clear Blizz wants people running High Priest Thekal. Think the paladin meta will revolve around mechas and using the high attack magnetics and these to heal up.

This card can help a lot vs aggro match-ups. Now control paladin needs a solid win condition other than grinding opponent down with buffed Prelates.
Nope, sorry don’t get the hype with this one.

Insane card. And you can cast it 4 times!!!! 0.0
Too bad standard loses Spikeridged Steed

If aggro is super degenerate in new meta, which it probably will be, then this card will be played otherwise Flash of Light is just better.

Turn your Immortal Prelate into a Kingsbane in minion form. But it can be silenced/transformed.

Seems legitimately good, but is it better than "heal 4, draw a card" good?

I agree with ben. Flash of Light seems to just be better in most situations.
