Yet more value cards for mage. Mage has been pushed into the card value class for a while now. That was awful against the combo decks and infinite value cards like DK Rexxar. Maybe control mage can return, but it needs something to help it survive.
I don't see why anybody is underestimating this card. Perhaps not meta defining, but for 2 mana this is a very powerful effect that can continue to dominate if it sticks on the board. Plus, I'm certain there will be more Mage cards in the set to synergize with Khadgar. As for a 2/2 not being powerful enough lore-wise for this character, at least the low mana cost means you'll see him more often in game.
As a main mage I'm excited to test this card in any mage deck with Astromancer, Jan'alai or the new Mage Spell, that sinergy is crazy to not take into consideration, but the card could easily be garbage nonetheless.
I expected so much for Khadgar anyway but this is kinda cool. Another 2-Cost mage legendary, yay!
As impactful as Archmage Argual but I'm sure that bads will try to prove me wrong
This is going to be fun with Medivh in Wild.
i actually want to understand why blizzard is pushing this minion mage archtype with arugal and Kadghar. It doesn't fir the mage theme....

I am probably gonna craft him no matter what. Because hell, he's one of the coolest characters ever created by Blizz.
But i am not entirely convinced of his impact, especially in Wild.
What is the interaction with Splitting Image (secret)? Flood the board with Khadgars? Lol
This card works with Dollmaster Dorian ?
holy balls - double Ragnaros from Jan'alai :|
I like it. Decent stats for cost, and an effect thats both powerful and fun.
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
But champion, how will Khadgar get all the heroes to gather apexis crystals?!
Though summoning for mage is rng usually so could be good, could be bad.

This card will be really good. It's not bad statswise and can be ridiculous with other cards. I think this might be a better brann.
Dragonhawk alone will make this see play. The other possible combo's are just gravy.
In theory a hand mage deck with Jan'alai could work but:
1- Too slow
2- Very inconsistent
If the meta revolves around control (highly unlikely) it might see some play.
Khadgar + Cosmic Anomaly + Unexpected Results for super mediocre 3-card combo!
Yes, but doing 8 damage from your hero power is harder when you aren't Odd Mage.
I have no doubt this card will see play, and some insane shenanigans await though.
Baku is from Witchwood. You have another year of odd Mage.
Baku is going Hall of Fame, bud. You should read and inform youself a bit more on that matter.
Release the Kraken!

Ascendit a terra in coelum, iterumque descendit in terram, et recipit vim superiorum et inferiorum.
This makings of Big Hand Mage with this card helping to support it? Meteorologist, Messenger Raven, Archmage Arugal, Astromancer, Astral Rift? Powerful draw with Research Project.
