You add some TRASH to your deck, then you beg to DRAW those TRASH, then you play those TRASH and add some TRASH into your opponent's D*ck, then you beg that your opponent doesn't draw the TRASH, then you beg a little more that you draw Dr.Boom before your opponent draws the TRASH
And then you have a BETTER Dr.Boom !!!!
Isn't it amazing ? Who would want to play a normal Dr.Boom now that this card exists ?
~ JUST TAKE MAH MONEY ALREADY , GAD ~
haha for sure with this analysis, this card is quite lame, so much rng hopefully there will be at least one good bomb generator then lets go the dr boom meta
Wait why is this so well rated? There has been a lot of power creep since the Dr. 7 days. He barely sees play in wild any more.
This is probably quite a bit weaker then the old Dr. Not sure if this is really meta defining.
There are a few reasons this is so higly rated
- It's pre-expansion period and everyone is hyped, and everything new looks exciting (no matter how bad it really is) - Hearthstone plebs traditionally have zero idea on how to judge a card based on it's power level, nothing new really. You don't believe me, good thing that Hearthpwn keeps track of the votes. Visit older expansions and see what people though about old legendaries.
Why is there so much controversy over a card ? I think must people are overlooking at the fact that with the rotation and the new expansion we will see a new meta , perhaps one where value cards might become important now ? I can see Bomb Warrior as one of the new Warrior archetypes perhaps not one of the best but Warrior doesn’t have much to offer tbh and I can see this perhaps at bottom tier 2.This can whoever change with upcoming expansions
I mean lot people say about space and it’s useless well no because boom bots are 1/1 and deal 3 damage remember that, it’s not 0/0 goblin bombs that stay there...... so 4 boombots that deal 3 at random each for 2 shuffled bombs that deal 5 each? Of course this card is very good. Not amazing maybe!!! But very good. Remember when old dr boom first came out everybody talked trash and said it was super bad and on paper it was kind of bad, but it went to be the best card ever in that time... so and in warrior mmmmm control warrior with all this tools and dr boom plus other minions i think it should be very good.
Is it me or people forgetting that with at least 1 bomb (and warrior will be fully mech bomb-oriented in this exp) it will become a normal Dr Boom - which is already more than decent, and with 4-6 bombs it will be kinda broken. More than a good card imo
More than 3 bombs is a waste as no more board space. Seems memey rather than good but will be fun to play with
In the days of the original Dr. Boom, it was extremely common to play him to an empty board. One adventure pack later, if you were feeling cheeky, you'd play Brann Bronzebeard + Dr. Boom to an empty board.
When you're playing Warrior, you can almost always count on having an empty board.

Complaining about RNG in Hearthstone won't convince anyone that it's a bad thing -- it only makes them think you're too dimwitted to find a game that suits you better.
I like the card, and I've always thought Iron Juggernaut shenanigans could be a fun deck, but I must unfortunately agree with those who find this card kind of lazy/uninspired. Reprinting the original Dr. Boom with a situational tag on it seems pretty lame; at least the new Hagatha has a truly different + unique effect.
I don't really see the point of this. There is not enough synergy between this and the bomb cards other than this requiring bomb cards to work. If I want to play a bomb deck I have the means now. Play the Clockwork Goblin and Seaforium Bomber, bounce them, play dr. boom hero to discover more Clockwork Goblins, Upgrade! the Wrenchcalibur for extra bombs, Sit back and watch as the opponent gets blown to bits. Seems like a fun deck.
But what will this add to that? This doesn't generate more bombs in my opponent's deck! Sure, the 6 boom bots are annoying to deal with when you can get 20+ damage at any time, and sure, when you have the hero up those boom bots are even more lethal, but... Well, I guess I just don't like the legendary being the more boring piece of the puzzle.
My opinion: This should have doubled the amount of bombs in opponent's deck as battlecry.
I mean, if you have 4+ bombs in the opponents deck (which seems reasonable to do by turn 7/8 based on some of the cards), play him on turn 8 (turn 7 with the coin) and then a whirlwind and you just did 24+ damage.
So I look forward to see all of the people saying this is a weak card complaining about how OP he is in a month or two =D
