1) This can copy big game changing cards like Dr. Boom, or even more so for Priest Vol'Jin.
2)In RR, Blizz was going for some "Flood your deck with 1 cost copies and buff your deck" deck archetype with Priest's totem and all their legendaries. The problem was was that with all the support, it still flopped due to current meta strategies. With Prince Keleseth rotating, it makes this deck even worse, not to mention that the deck never really had the card draw it needed to be feasible. If They fix the missing Keleseth and card draw problem, this deck type could be the new priest meta and flooding Madam Lazul into the deck would be extra powerful.
The only downside of this card is that it’s a Legendary.
But you don’t wanna keep it in the mulligan anyway since it’s way more likely to find powerful cards in the later stages of the game.
However if Priest becomes just another OTK archetype class, there might probably be no room for this card , since OTK decks generally only look for cards that do something consistently ( like clear the board, or keeping you alive), or work towards your gameplan.
I feel like a trend is starting with the Rise of Shadows that I've been wanting forever and that is that blizzard is starting to print minion cards of the heroes. Now i liked Hero cards but i think they've had their time in the sun and will rotate save for Hagatha, Dr. Boom, and Zul'Jin. I would like to see the trend occur with the classic 9 heroes of the game or all hero portraits for that matter. They are supposed to be the most powerful heroes in the warcraft universe and i just feel like a minion card of those heroes would show their power better than just changing the portrait and hero power. I like the idea that some of them could still alter the hero power but i would like to see some stats behind these characters aside from gain 5 armor and occasionally a weapon. Thrall is easily one of if not my favorite character from the warcraft universe and you barely get to see him because shaman hasn't had many competitive decks aside from even and shudderwock pre-nerfs. I was honestly a little concerned that they were reprinting cards like Rafaam, Hagatha, and Dr. Boom purely because i like to see new cards with originality and i know this may seem like i'm contradicting myself but I would just love to see characters like Grommash and Garrosh on the board together. Or Anduin as he looks in Battle for Azeroth and not the adolescent version that is currently used in hearthstone. I'm sure you guys could think of some other examples as well. Overall i just don't think it would hurt if they were in the game for 2 years.
Curious Glimmerroot doesn't see too much play at the moment in any format, so you have to consider how valuable the info on their hand is, and how much better Discover is compared to a random card.
To me the card seems better than Glimmerroot for sure.
This card is very good, not only because it replaces itself in your hand as an early drop, but because it gives you information on your opponent's hand, and can let you steal late-game power cards that tend to hang around in their hand (e.g. Jaina, if she weren't rotating). If this card followed the 3/4 for 3-mana statline instead of the 3/2, it would likely be in almost every priest deck for the next two years.

You are so wrong. Curious Glimmerroot was a staple in Spiteful and Raza Priest and it is a very good card in Arena.
Hearthstone and MTG are VERY different in that regard because MTG lets players counter cards that are being played and interact with the board on the opponent's turn. This makes seeing their hand far more valuable that it is in Hearthstone (and, ironically, there are many more cards that let you spy their hand in MTG).
I think people might be overrating this. Just like chamaleos. It is a net tempo loss for information gain. I guess. But a 3/2 body on the board will get you nowhere and most of the time the card will not fit you game plan.
While you certainly can use the information to play around cards, you would in most cases still have 1 or 2 cards open. So can't stop playing around other cards. Therrfore the information is not nearly as valueable.
Might make the cut, if it has more support or princess gets to strong, but all I see here is unwarranted chameleos hype.
Sexy and simple. Probable auto-include in most Priest decks.
Good, but super boring. Not worthy of an orange gem IMO.
Also weird have Lazul as both a hero and a minion.
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
Well Hagatha is also a hero card and a minion and Dr. Boom will be as well.
I voted Meta-Defining for 2 reasons.

Dr. Boom (GVG), Dr. Boom (TBP) and Dr. Boom (RoS) would have a word with you.
The card is very good, looking at opponents hand is very useful in card games (at least in MTG). But if Priest is bad, this card is useless.
Man that is some boring design.
Oh boy this is strong. Discovering a card is great but seeing 3 cards in your opponent's hand is amazing .

Google search: Is Hearthstone free to play?
It blows my mind that people are bored by the ability to see the opponent's hand.
I guess a lot of players might not know how to use that information.

Don't worry, in 2 years it will be an epic/rarepriest card. Just likeTerrorscale Stalker andPrincess Huhuran
And yes it not weird only, its lazy design as well! Hagatha on the board and as a Playable hero card! Same with Dr.Boom.

The information alone can be pretty valuable. On top of that, 3/2 body and a card. I like it!

Seems overrated. This whole information giving not made chameleos playable.

Occasionally gives helpful advice.
It's still far less boring than Rafaam or Oblivitron so far.
