There's two things to consider when evaluating this card. If this were simply a 3/2 draw a card for 3, would it be played? Since drawing is typically evaluated at 1-1.5 mana, I'm inclined to say yes. Now, is a card from your opponents deck worth 1.5 mana typically? No. It doesn't fit your game plan and your strategy to win typically. but this is a discover effect and you get to know 3 of their cards. This feels like a really solid card in any match up that's not vs aggro.
A Good Card. But why are the Legendaries just "copies" of old effects.
I want something new.

I don't really get why so many people are calling that card "bad against aggro". Of course she doesn't say "Battlecry: Clear the board" but since aggro decks aren't known for their sick card draw, this will be "Battlecry: Look at (at least 75 % of) your opponent's hand" so you'll know their burst potential. Additional you'll get a 3/2 body on board + one of the cards you just discovered, to give you card advantage. Against aggro this could be a charge/rush minion or a damage spell wich are good tools to control the board.
It's not an OP "I win" legendary, but a decent value generator with a high skill ceiling. I like it!

Such a sweet optimism. Haven't you learned yet that a 'high skill ceiling' doesn't help against aggression or OTK?

This is an insane value card. A 3 mana 3/2 that draws a card is fairly solid, and this effect has the opportunity to be better than that. It is a huge value tool against control, and against aggro it can get you something relevant and is a 3/2 for 3, which is a lot better than your anti-control cards normally perform against aggro. The hand information aspect is also really cool, and will be particularly helpful to good players.

Well, to be fair: Against OTK decks, this card will feel weak I guess. But the decks that could include her will be pretty control-oriented, wich ist pretty weak against OTK in general...
Against aggression she could provide the card advantage you need to gain control of the board.
Like I said: Not OP since she won't counter every deck, but far away from weak.
Im getting tired of op priest cards every expansion...
I know right. Look at all the legendaries Priest has gotten over the last few expansions that see play ALL the time. I am so tired of seeing Lady in White or Zerek being played every single game.
When will Priest stop dominating Tier 1!!??
You had other op stuff to compensate that every other expansion. It is not even a debate at this point.

This shouldn't be a legendary card. it's a good card and will be used in almost every priest deck (not a must however) but his effect is underwhelming for a legendary card. This kind of useful cards that everyone could use but that rarely define the game SHOULD NOT BE LEGENDARY. This is a way to rise the cost of the game.
But this is what Legendarys were back in the days . A lot of them are simply good (often value) cards . No body build his deck "around" Ragnaros or Ysera.
Btw i always said Drakonid Operative from the powerlevel speaking should and could have been a Legendary.
Oh boy this is strong. Discovering a card is great but seeing 3 cards in your opponent's hand is amazing .
Its even better then just watch cards. Ur opponent doesn't know what cards did u see, so it can confuse him even more how to play and what cards did u see. Its super powerful mindgame card
I play alot of priest in wild. Dust it. Pretty shit card. Use common sense to figure out what deck it is. Most of the time it'll be a bad card that you get. Bad stats too.
For constructed this card may be best used for checking what card opponent has been generated, and it could have decent deck popularity. However i think this card would shine in arena. In constructed you would probably know against what deck do you face and anticipate certain cards which you may not use effectively, but in arena this will show its magic.
To answer this whole “Chameleos isn’t playable so this won’t be playable” argument;
Yes the cards have their similarities and their main strengths lie in information gathering, but there are some key differences. Chameleos shows you one card at a time and has to be played there and then if you see a card that you want, otherwise you have to wait for it to roll that card again (assuming the opponent hasn’t played it by then), whilst Lazul enables you to pick a card now that will be useful later. Lazul, unlike Chameleos, can also be played the turn she is drawn and not be a vanilla minion and by the same token, as a played top deck she immediately gives you information on three cards, while Chameleos has to wait at least a further three turns to do the same.
In addition to the above, Chameleos is actually a decent card, but because of the existence of a little 2 mana spell called Shadow Visions, any Priest card that does not assist or synergise with a strategy revolving around Mind Blast or Divine Spirit simply isn’t good enough to make it into any top tier Priest deck in the current rotation. Spiteful Priest in fact did often run Chameleos, as did value oriented control Priest builds without MB/DS win condition. With Shadow. Visions on its way out, there will be more scope for cards like these to see play.
Wow, that is a really good card. This will probably be in every Priest deck. You could even Seance this card or use spirit of the dead to keep cheating out more of this card and keep your opponent in check the entire match.

Excellent card! I love stealing cards from my opponent :D

GreyBloodCard is trash and will see about as much play as Chameleos
Puts a 3/2 on the board, draws a card and reveals your opponents hand. It's the opposite of trash

maybe its interesting but it doesn't guarantee win.
The card is *ideally* very good, but in practice it's just a good filler card for Control-ish decks, or slow Midrange.
Given that context of play:
1) against OTK you are still doomed in most cases.
2) against Aggro it's nearly useless, because of a bad Tempo loss. A winmore at best.
3) good against other Control. Very good.
So basically a tech card for mirror matchup.
UNLESS Princess Talanji is given some siblings. In which case the Midrange option could become consistent enough for a Thief Priest.
