You're looking it in isolation, if they printed a card in the same set that said, all demons get +2/+2 this turn.. or continuous +2/+1
They could also print, whenever you summon a demon do this.. all of sudden thats X demons you summoned. Dont judge things in isolation it's just silly
If they'll print a card - 0 mana, If you have a 5\1 elemental on the board, win the game, Magma Rager will become goooood. Stop saying that Magma Rager is a bad card, it's just silly
Sure, broken synergy card may make this playable, even good. It will be awful for competitiveness because games where such hypothetical demon-buff deck will start with this card in hand and won't start with this card in hand will be as different as having prince 2 in time or not.
I think Blizzard doesn't see a Warlock as a control archetype. In their mind it`s mor zoo or mid oriented. So they MUST add a lot of board/demon buff synergies or it will be a old school zoo.
Each time a minion appears in your side, kill it and add its stats to the Doom ritualist
So, if you play control warlock and you go for the long game, baiting your opponet silences, until you eventualy play the Doom Ritualist, and if you hold thr scheme for a long time, you can buff him into a 20/20, or something like that
This seems really good with Grim Rally. Like on turn 5 you play this and grim rally one of the guy and get 8/8 worth of stats on turn 5. Maybe I'm a little bit too hopeful for this card...

I'm expecting something like this
Unless that "doom ritualists" of yours has charge, that kind of big body does nothing. Even taunt and rush are meh.
Also, in this case it is just 3 mana add +6\6 to a minion. Doesn't even close to being a good enough payoff for such setup.
If you want to make it work as a mid\late game win condition make "5 mana transform all your imps to a random demon that costs 4 or more" card or something like that.

I would expect the Ritualist kill them as they keep going out, so even if your Scheme says you will summon 10 imps, every one will be sacrified before the next goes out
Also we know they are not going to print "Charge" anymore, and since they are leveling down the power level for each new expansion, a big body seems more viable than this previous years

It doesn't work that way. It is one spell, not a repeating effect. it will summon 6 imps, THEN they'll die. Stuff doesn't happen in the midst of the spell, unless stated otherwise (like Defile). If it worked like you think it is the the text would be something like - summon 1\1 imp, cast X times.
But even if it did - Single huge minion in a late game is a bad win condition.
Looks bad. The first thing that came to mind was a gimmicky zoo deck involving Spirit of the Bat played after this to spread a butload of +1/+1 buffs but that's iffy at best. Grim Rally, however, is a good synergy card for this. This card's usability is mostly dependant on a Zoo-lock's need for 3 drops and that doesn't bode well for it.
Yes we have seen similar cards see no play BUT this costs 3 not 4, koft rotates and with it 2 cards that read "deal 1 damage to all minions) that cost 2, sometimes you want a few carss that do similar stuff, we have that 4 mana summon 4 imps, we might get a few cards that benefit from tokens dying/tokens being demons.
There are already a few cards benefitting from this card: grim rally, dire wolf alpha, defender of argus(can be played on curve), knife juggler, spirit of the bat, cult master, witch's caulderon.
and I am assuming we should get some imp synergy somehow.
don't underestimate this card, a similar 4 mana ccard was very potent in token druid.

Token druid, in which this card was played, tried to create wide boards in mid-game and even late game.
Zoo wants wide boards in early game. Zoo wants to curve out, not look at a card for several turns not playing it. Zoo wants non-conditional topdecks. Look at zoo of any meta and ask yourself - would it even consider playing this?
Try to make a zoo with currently available year of dragon cards and ask yourself, do you really take it over microtech controller, harvest golem, whatever 3 mana 3\4?

Forget about the spell, and focus on the "ritualist". It's like Sword of Justice, which even when you use your Odd hero power or Lost in the Jungle, where you summon all the minons at once, if you have the weapon, summons them one by one, buffing them. Think in the ritualist by the same way, but killing them one by one. Even if you only have one avaible space in the board, but your scheme is summon 20 imps, they would be destroyed one by one, allowing the next to enter anyway.
Anyway this is pure speculation, I doubt this card exists, but something like this would be fun(read FUN, not an staple win condition)

This card screams that another card is coming to work with it. Wait and see.
What about Grim Rally? And wild has Crystalweaver.
should instead summon 2-3 imps that get +1/+1 every turn
I'll be using this with Spirit of the Bat and Darkshire Councilman in wild.
Indeed, this would be a good card in druid, but there's no support for it in warlock yet. We'll see what comes out next.
I think they would prefer Wispering Woods over this.

Mmmmm....
What if warlock recieves something like...
Doom ritualist, 7 mana, 5/5
Each time a minion appears in your side, kill it and add its stats to the Doom ritualist

Potential is there. We just need to see if we get more payoff cards. Demonbolt seems like a nice payoff card too.

Don't forget about what cards rotate out of Standard. It may well be that there is nothing better than this card left for certain decks.

I really should update my signature more often...
It would be great if there would be a minion or spell that could return your imps to your hand to generate value for Arch-Villain Rafaam.
For example a spell like:
name: Call of E.V.I.L.
cost: 4 mana
effect: Return your imps to your hand. Deal 1 damage to all enemy minions for each imp returned.
The next turn you can play Arch-Villain Rafaam and transform your imps in your hand to legendaries.
