Great, let's makeColdlight Oracle rogues more ridiculously oppressive than they already are when you stumble upon one in wild.
Beat a Mill Rogue with Treachery Howlfiend lock this week by luck, with an early game Gnomeferatu discarding a Coldlight. Had my opponent had this new card, I think he might have won in late game as they did fish out another oracle and copy it, but the three copies went down to the bottom of his deck, while I was one hand away from unleashing Azari, the Devourer when the rogue conceded.
/Howlfiend combo also eliminated draw, deathknight and other copying mechanics he/she had in hand. Really wanted to ask them "how does it feel?"
I already knew rogue was going to continue to be cancer after seeing lacky shark pontential...this is just ridiculous. I dont understand why rogue is always allowed to do super cancerous crap and for such low mana cost.
No rogue decks anywhere near tier 1, and that's before Baku being HoF'd....
Easiest "meta defining" of my life. So abusable. Schemes and the way they scale might prove to be a problem. If not in standard, this will thrive in wild.
i don't really know why, but whenever rogue decks become really prominent, those decks are almost always insanly stupid. Quest rogue, kingsbane, mill. Those decks were so insanly frustrating to play against. I really hope this won't get too abusable.

Good potential, but after having played a lot with the Lab Recruiter in all types of decks, I just want to say that it will take many draw cards for it to work optimally. The loss of elven minstrel is a big loss that will have to be compensated by something other than Myra's Unstable Element(1 of not enough) in order to have consistency.

If rouge gets another card akin to Elven Minstrel , this could fuel a crazy PogoRouge deck. Otherwise, its just a solid midrange card. Maybe a replacement for Academic Espionage in some Myracle decks?
You guys are missing some important facts and exaggerating a bit. This card is strong, not gonna lie. Has great potential and a lot of value.
But...
Firstly, rogue is losing some very important cards after rotation. Valeera, Minstrel, Strider to name the few...
Secondly, in order to make a lot out of this card you would need to keep it in your opening hand and not use it for decent amount of rogues.
The card is apsolutely useless against aggro. It takes a slot and does apsolutely nothing on the turn you played it (even though thats irelevant because you payed measly 1 mana for it).
I played a lot of Pogo rogue back in boomsday. I enjoyed the deck because of its complexity and I'm certainly gonna play some more after the rotation but the absence of Valeera will certainly hit any control Rogue archetype, let alone Pogo rogue.

How the hell is Rogue a cancer?
Sign me up for some spicy action, T4 Spirit of the Shark, T5 Backstab + EVIL Miscreant and then double Ethereal Lackey to get FOUR copies of this stupid spell.
Kaladin's RoS Set Review
Join me at Out of Cards!
Again ridiculous amount of value...
For another year rogue remains one of the most irritating classes.
Is there a limited to the upgrade?
Valar Morghulis
I think this card will be great and might just be the card that makes pogo hopper into the next jade idol... rip lol

And u have in your deck only cards for 7 mana 6/6. This is bad combo coz your next Chef Nomi need empty deck.
oh god, please no

On a more serious note, I think this card is not competitively viable, but it will satisfy my Timmy desires!
I am tilted already.
He didnt say scheme was going to be used on chef...
Fun > Meta
Hooktusk + Togwaggle's Scheme after sitting in your hand for like 20 turns
ARGHHHHHHHHH INTENSIFIES
HOOKTUSKS INTO MOAR HOOKSTUKS!
So much for moving away from infinite rescourses and value as design for future sets....
This will be another jade druid/quest/death knight problem or completely useless, there is no middle ground.
There is not a single negative comment in this thread :)
Very good in standard. Straight up broken in wild.
Occasionally gives helpful advice.

Dont know if this card will be good or garbage, but this is the type of card that can be abused and can lead to frustration when u play against.
Seems like a control killer to me.
