Hello , I'm wondering about the cards that are rotating out of the game on April . Are those cards going to turn into dust automatically ? Or do I need to disenchant it before April myself ? And where can I find the list of cards that are going to be rotated out ? Any advises that you guys can give me on should I save up my gold and wait for the new expansion or its OK to spend it on classic packs ? Lastly , the cards that will be moved into the hall of fame , are they still able to use or should I disenchant it ?
Is there any videos or guide on the internet that answer all my questions ? Sorry , I'm just a newb . Please guide me senpai :3
I'd save up for the new expo. Look for the Year of the Dragon thread in the news to see what's rotating. You can disenchant the wild cards if you don't plan to ever go there. I would.
Ok first of all, every card from the expansions Journey to Ungoro, Knights of the frozen throne and kobolds and katacombs are going to rotate. You will still have the cards that you have from these sets but you will only be able to use them in wild format wich is where you can use any cards from any expansion. As a new player it would be hard to join wild because there a lot of cards and the card packs from previous expansions will not be purchasable, so you would need to craft every card that you would want so it can be very expensive. When the next expansion hit you can decide to dust them or keep them if you want to play wild at some point on the future (In your case, because you are new I would dust them because I suppose you don't have a lot of them so it's not such a big loss and it would be better to focus on standard). If you can, craft the cards that are going to go to the hall of fame. When the next expansion go live they will give you the dust that you used to craft them and then you can either keep them to use them in wild or disenchant them to get extra dust, so don't disenchant them untill they give the dust refund. As a new player, There are a legendary crafting guide (Just hover over the cards icon on the top of the page and it will show it) to give you an idea of what legendary is good and which are considered not so good or bad. Also, a little fact is that in the first 10 packs you buy of every expansion, you are guaranteed a legendary card, so if you haven't bought at least those 10 packs from the other sets, (for example of witchwood or boomsday) it's a very good idea to start there. (Maybe it's also a good idea to buy at least 10 packs from the expansions that are going to rotate to get the dust of that legendary but that is debatable, depends on the gold you have). As a final point, it's also a big recommendation to save dust to CRAFT A DECK, not a card. There are a lot of decks that are actually really good and are cheap or at least not so expensive. As a new player is common to save dust for an amazing legendary that actually didn't help you a lot once you crafted it, but if you used that dust to make a cheap deck, it would give you much better results.
I appreciate the effort you wrote answering all my questions . Now I understand what to do , thank you very much ! I'm very glad that you stop by and help me :)
Blanchorn don't disenchant anything yet. Nothing will be removed. You will keep the cards that are rotating to wild, and you can always disenchant them at a later point if you don't want to play wild. Standard is by far the most popular game mode, and it requires only the basic and classic sets + the sets from the most recent 2 years. The cards that are moved to hall of fame cannot be used in standard after the rotation. But you will get a full dust refund, just for having these cards when the rotation hits. So if possible, craft the cards that are moving to Hall of Fame, you can disenchant them when rotation hits. Hope this helped you :)
