With the new Specialist format I could see someone running Nomi in the secondary or terciary deck as a trump card against very slow decks. Meta will be so different in April that there is very little we can predict.
Blizzard really hates fatigue and his own mana restrictions. Hearthstone never needed cards like this that generate 30+ mana worth of stuff on play, or super powerful cards to counter fatigue style gameplay.
Anyway, that's just another polarized card that requires specific and polarized answer. Shouldn't be neutral, same as Mecha'thun.
Probably a meme card, but similar weird cards surprised us in the past, the battlecry is strong, and it can win control mirrors, odd warrior would probably play this card right now if it wanted to cement the control mirrors.. it's a win condition after all..
Also rigue.. but rogue needs specifically 2 legendary cards to pull this off.
Not gonna dismiss this one yet as Mecha'thun decks looked like the biggest meme ever and became one of the most frustrating things in the game. This card doesn't win the game instantly, at least.
It is currently a meme legendary until Mecha'thun cycles out. With that being said, I like its design (much better and a lot more fair than Mecha'thun).
also, you people forget that Myra's Unstable Element is not only a card, but also pretty strong. Imagine a Tempo Rogue deck that rushes you down, refills with MYra and can use this as a last resort immediate board generator
Not a huge fan of this card. It's a pretty specific when it's good. Obviously first you have to fulfill the condition, no cards in deck. You always have to be in position where you can essentially "do nothing" on your turn and they can't kill you on their next turn. Further more you have to hope that they ALSO can 't remove your board or just stall you out enough. If Nomi himself had taunt or rush or something then I can see this being decent. As is, the situation where it's good is pretty narrow. Also Myra's is another high risk/reward situation. If you pull it off you have to hope they have no way to clear your board or at least clear out enough of it to stay alive. Your pulling off the whole thing around turn 6? That is awfully close to when some powerful board clears can be played. It sounds fun but I am not sure it's good enough to become a staple strat.
I think the meta is gonna shift heavily to be focused on Warrior (Rush, Mech, Dragon). Warrior has always been a class that can easily go to fatigue. I'm going to go against the grain here and say that this card will be used, but for niche finisher stuff like warrior. Voting Playable
I think this will surprise people. I've been asking for a card like this for a long time. The problem is that Mecha'thun decks have to be draw heavy and require a bunch of combo cards, which makes them more susceptible to fast/mid range than standard control decks. No one just puts Mecha'thun into a control deck on the hopes that it can win the game without some combo. But you can stick this in a standard control deck like warrior and then have a strong finisher if you get to fatigue.
Insane with myra's You play any aggro rogue, myra's => chef nomi game over Wild kingsbane rogue struggle a lot vs wide board => myra's + chef nomi => problem solved
Nice flavour at the very least, Nomi in WoW is a chef that always burns food. When your deck is empty you see flames where your cards were and he uses that to 'cook' up some minions. Not sure if this will see play though.

"Edgy quote about being too smart and suffering for it" - Literally who - 1890 Yes I am better than you, my signature implies it. Annoying Random colours.
It is not a good gameplan to go myra's and this, if you can't back the all in plan up with a fitting deck. Too early to cal, pirate rogue might be fitting...still I dont see it.
I think the best case scenario for this card is:
Turn 5 - Myra's
Turn 6 - Coin + Chef Nomi
Even if your opponent is a Warlock, you have one more turn before they can Twisting Nether it.
Worst Case Scenario is:
Turn 5 - Myra's
Turn 6 - Coin + Chef Nomi
Opponent's Turn 7 - Hagatha's Scheme that they've kept since turn 1 or 2

things like myra and shadowstep will make this op imo

Has potential in the right deck/meta "playable"
Insane in Myra's Unstable Element deck
Seems powerful, but actually dies to Auchenai Circle Circle...

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

Myra's, then this, then Academic Espionage. Let's go!!!

Yep i think it will only work with an aggro deck when you need the last push of dmg. If you play a control deck, mechathun is a better option.
neat but why ever play this over mecha'thun
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
