So 15 minutes ago I was playing against a regular (non-combo) C'Thun druid in wild casual. I had to complete the play-30-priest-cards daily quest and what better way to do it than to use my beloved Steal Priest. Before I continue, I want to post the following link:
and say, that I'm aware with C'Thun's buffing mechanic. If I steal an enemy C'Thun and I don't have any buffs attached to me, it stays as a plain 6/6. However if I do have any, the stolen legendary will benefit from those.
Whenever C'Thun is empowered, a special display reveals the minion and its resulting stats to both players.[5] The location of the minion is not revealed during this process. However, the animation will not appear if you lack a C'Thun, to prevent bluffing.
Each player has their own C'Thun buffs.[16] If a player uses Thoughtsteal to copy the opponent's C'Thun, the copy will benefit from the stealing player's C'Thun buffs, not those belonging to the player from whom the C'Thun was copied.
If you use Entomb on your opponent's C'Thun, it will be reset to a default state (6/6) then start being affected by your own ritual buffs, including ones you had played earlier in the game, as though it had been your C'Thun the entire game.
So here's the bug - Twilight Elder's ticks didn't affect the stolen C'Thun. Before I managed to steal the legendary from my opponent with Crystalline Oracle, I had the gnome 3 turns into play. So if C'Thun's mechanics worked properly, the 3 ticks should have been attached to my character and affect him later on even though I didn't posess him yet. When I stole the legendary, he was a plain 6/6. But the strangest thing occurred when I played Dark Arakkoa. The buffing animation appeared on the screen and it showed how my C'Thun was buffed to 12/12, while in reality the legendary was a 9/9 in my hand. Once I played it on an empty board, it dealt only 9 damage to the druid's face. I can assure you, that in the past the buffing ritual worked as intended and I didn't have this problem.
Sadly I didn't take any screenshots to prove my words, but if someone wants to play a C'Thun deck against me, so than we can test this interaction, I would appreciate it.
Are you 100% sure you did play all this in one game? In long sessions it can happen, that you confuse two different games for one. Already happened to me, too.

I can assure you, that this happened in one game. My only mistake was not taking a screenshot, because I didn't think I would make a thread about it.
[edit] Today I played only 3 games. 1st was against a shaman (who I suspect was Shudderwock due to the double inclusion of Doppelgangster, but they also ran other questionable battlecry minions). After the second Mass Hysteria on turn 7 they conceded. The 2nd game was against the aforementioned druid and immediately after that I created the thread. Lastly I played against an aggro hunter. That's all.
I am sure its an unintentional bug that occurred while patching the game. Wild is not looked after much, especially when its a special event like that. You can try and report it to Blizz directly. Maybe they will fix it eventually.

Yeah, you have a point. Will they accept my report w/o any proof attached to it? I think I have to find someone, who wants to test this interaction with me. Finding C'Thun players on wild casual is super rare.
I think that Crystalline Oracle give you the exact copy of your opponent card (keeping buffs) . If he didnt buffs C'Thun you will get it unbuffed.
Impossible. My opponent's C'Thun was over 20/20 at that time. And the link, which I posted above, states how C'Thun is affected by friendly buffs only.

Then I can only think of a bug.
