Da Undatakah is too slow. He will probably also be too slow after the rotation. Also, he is too weak against silence. He is more of a meme card than anything else. Let's see if the rotation changes that.
After reading everyone opinions, I guess the main issue here is that it is slow, by turn 8 the match probally is over in this fast meta. Too bad, I probally will just play with it for fun, I love to be able to pull off the Cube Da Undatakah in my deathrattle hunter deck.
Quick question, for Druid infinite combo: Astral Tiger and Silver Vanguard, what if the Da Undatakah when death activate the Silver Vanguard deathrattle first and then the Astral Tiger then I will not be able to pull out Da Undatakah immediately right? So it is like a 50 50 chance of be able to put Da Undatakah in the deck and immediatelly pull him out?
The problem isn't that he is "too slow," after all there are plenty of 8-10 mana cards seeing play right now. Da Undatakah's glaring issue is that for 8 mana he doesn't do anything to impact the board when he's played. Much like Ysera, which sees no play except for in Odd Warrior (because giving up tempo is not such a problem when you have 60hp), if you're paying 7+ mana for a card, it really needs to have an immediate impact (for example Crowd Roaster removes/damages a minion, The Lich King sticks an 8hp wall in the way, Malygos is typically played as part of a game-winning combo, Bloodreaver Gul'Dan summons a bunch of taunt and/or charge minions etc. If your opponent is representing lethal or critical damage and you drop Undatakah, you gon get shafted.

You do realise you just said the problem isn't that he's too slow and then perfectly described why he's too slow? ;)
I wouldn't say he's too slow, more of an issue (for standard at least) that there are not a lot of cheap / midrange deathrattles seeing play that would make you want to play Undatakah on curve. If we get those then I could see it getting alot more play down the road.

I've pulled this combo off. It takes a lot though. I uploaded the video to Facebook: Undatakah Infinite
If I had more healing in my deck, it would work better. Maybe, haha
I use it in my Wild White Eyes deck. It can stack the same deathrattle multiple times so it becomes an 8 mana 8/5 shuffle 3 Storm Guardians into your deck. Not good but very fun.
It definitely had its day in Hadronox Druid, and I think will see play again. It just needs to have the right deathrattles to synergies off of. Blizzard is afraid to print top-tier deathrattle minions for a number of reasons, but if the right one gets popular, this card could take off.
Most deathrattle decks at the moment use Carnivorous Cube, which has anti-synergy with Da Undatakah. Also for the 8-mana slot, he competes with The Lich King. But those two cards are going to rotate in April, so Da Undatakah may get a chance to shine then.
Most deathrattle cards don't impact the board on the turn they're summoned, that doesn't automatically disqualify them. The high casting cost does make him a better target for Polymorph and Hex, but right now most Mages are Odd and Shamans are rare on ladder. Also silence isn't very common right now. Besides, if the opponent saves a transform or silence effect for Da Undatakah, that effect cannot be used on the deathrattles you play before it, so you get more value out of your other minions.
I play a taunt Druid that uses the Astral Tiger/Hadronox combo. This gets you infinite Da Undatakah and you have two ways (Jasper Spellstone and Naturalize) kill him right away before your opponent can silence. Works real good up until about rank 5.

Da Undatakah is disgusting in mech paladin with the 0/5 eggs. Couple it with Tyrion’s deathrattle weapon and you are looking at an insane swing turn. Fun deck to play too.
I've seen some really fun stuff with Undatakah and Paladin's Immortal Prelate and Silver Vanguard. Basically you can super buff the prelate, and Undatakah dies and summons itself from your deck, complete with buffs. Add Val'anyr for stupid good value. There are some fun videos out there about it.

I just opened Da Undatakah, so hype up about it. I was thinking about using it in my (only) viable deathrattle Hunter, or build a Deathrattle Rogue.
But then I dont see any tier 1 or tier 2 deck use it, I wonder why? Is it just not good? the effect doesn't get trigger as much?
I was having a ton of success with it in Deathrattle rogue because the opponent thought they had dealt with most of the deathrattles and then you hit them with this. Super fun when you play it turn 10 prep and necrium vial
If he had Taunt he would be too powerful, but without taunt its hard to drop a 8 mana card that does nothing immediately.
I crafted him because I think the Paladin Prelate deck is crazy fun to play, just can't get more than 50% win rate.
steed/adapt/the three cost weapon im forgetting the name of...there are ways..i've a created lot salt before. Beat a big beast huntard because it didnt matter how many things he summoned he couldnt get through to face dmg. 4 riders later.."You will BEG for mercy!"
Inb4 more meta Argo decks and combo in next expac 😂.

Wouldn't he be kinda mediocre unless there will be some sort of multiply, otk, ala naturalize on your own turn plays involved.
If it becomes anything remotely popular wouldn't people just use owls, spellbreakers or polymorf like hard removals on it.
I've pulled this combo off. It takes a lot though. I uploaded the video to Facebook: Undatakah Infinite

Undatakah is a value card, but playing for value is utterly pointless when certain DK's exist that give you infinite value for playing 1 card.
