Has anyone figured out a way to use Duskfallen Aviana that didn’t involve my opponent getting a great swing play before they destroy it or just outright killing me on the next turn? Just wondering if someone has an OP strategy for it yet that I haven’t seen. Maybe you didn’t think the world was ready for it yet, but we are now. Is this card any better in wild or worse?
if you have a deck that you actually use it in, feel free to post it here with your strategy. Thanks in advance for the feedback!
Find a way to reliably cheat it out at the start of your turn without playing a card, and you'll have struck gold. Maybe you can make alarm-o-bot stick and pull it out?
Have to agree with my colleagues here. The only use I can think of, is when Asmodeus tried to make it work in its video series called " Crappy Card Challenge" (crappy card is what the new Avianna unfortunately is):
But again, its one of those filler legendaries. Im quite confident that it won't see play under no circumstances. So many cards are just a better inclusion.
The card is literally 'let your opponent play a big thing for free, then die'. It's utter garbage and doesn't deserve to be run in any deck. I still don't know why blizzard made it's effect for both players instead of just you. I mean, that'd give your opponent a turn to remove it and if they couldn't then you could generate some good value, it'd be a decent card rather than what it is now.
I think the general idea behind Duskfallen Aviana is to play it when your opponent has limited to no resources in hand and you have something big in hand. Could maybe work against an aggro meta where it serves as both:
-A soft taunt (which would force the aggro player to either: SMOrc and roll the dice on you not having a big swing card that you could utilize for free; or change their gameplan and trade into it
-A means of getting your opponent to waste resources to remove it, deplete their hand, etc.
You play BOTH Duskfallen Aviana and Harbinger Celestia on the same turn! Think about it, if your opponent then tries to play a huge minion for free, Celestia becomes a copy of it. If your opponent chooses to play a crap minion, they waste their free mana minion!
Also, your opponent may simply cease to function and not play anything after having their mind shattered by seeing both Duskfallen Aviana and Harbinger Celestia played on the same turn. It just won't compute.

Hahahaha! That’s so hilariously great! ;-) But seriously, that just might work. Of course, you would have to put BOTH of those cards in your deck...

I'm going to try this. You sir, you definitely deserve a medal for this, haha. XD

As many have said... that is 100% certified fresh dank meme right there. Well played!!

Nope. Sorry. I have Duskfallen Aviana and if she were a physical card she'd be Mint Condition.
Hell, I play Harbinger Celestia more often than that meme of a card.
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
I don't think there is.

It is really bad in wild, because there are much better ways to cheat mana in druid, like regular Aviana, Twig of the World Tree and Dreampetal Florist.
Would there be a way to give it to your opponent if they are playing Resurrect/Gallery Priest?
That would be so much fun. Sadly, druid can't reliably get Treachery or Psychic Scream as far as I know :/
No, it's possibly the worst card I've ever put in a deck.
Yoyo!

Easy 400 dust :(

Outside of these niche scenarios... it's trash

My mind is blown by this amazing combo.

To make people buy more packs after opening such a garbage legendary, that is why.
Easy. You just have to play Temporus first. Then survive two opponent's turns and then you can enjoy one juicy turn with duskfallen aviana benefits.
However, recently I played her quite often. My astromancers really like to summon her from the deep space...
Hard to pull off, but Duskfallen > Twig > Temporus would be pretty awesome.

Question, who do people think is worse: Millhouse Manastormor Duskfallen Aviana? Just curious.
Millhouse at least gives you a 4/4 for 2 mana. And he's decent with Recruit mechanics. Duskfallen Aviana is just a 3/7 for 5 mana.
