I was thinking about trying wild out as I will have to be deciding whether I want to keep the cards that rotate this year.
I do have a lot of cards I love that will be going from standard though, so this might be a good chance to check out wild.
I was looking at decks I can already build, and there is a rogue deck (think it might be odd, I cannot remember) I can build, I just need unstable element.
I have 1600 dust I could drop on it, but I don't know whether I should or not.
I have not seen unstable used much in regular ladder, so is it a card that is mainly just used in wild right now?
I do like my rogue decks a lot and it's a card that looks awesome, but I don't want to spend the dust on a card to later find out that really I didn't need it after all and it was just in decks because people had it.... saying that though it does seem to be in loads of wild decks, so it might be safe craft after all.
I would advice against it. This is a very specific card that only works in a select couple of decks. Your dust might be better spend on a legendary that fits in more decks, be it rogue specific or neutral.

thanks man. this is my stand point as well. I was about to craft it, and then I thought... "maybe this isn't such a good idea after all".
I was thinking as well maybe getting the undertaker dude and trying a new death rattle rogue, but that probably sucks as well right now. ha ha.
I can play standard odd rogue without it with high winrate. Craft something like leeroy, Edwin, or Thalnos for miracle, or Zilliax Genn or Baku for everything
If you play wild odd rogue you won’t need Myra’s I can ensure you.
thanks.
I have not tried it yet, was just looking at some decks on HSreplay.
There's one that has the pirates package in there with patches and greenskin and stuff and I don't have those cards. It was much cheaper to build the other version that has the unstable element and the crystalizer in it (I don't know why that card is in there, unless the 1/3 is good.. it's not bad really, but I don't see any value beyond this, you don't get anything from hurting yourself do you?)
anyway I will just link the deck.
this is the deck I was looking at, the other odd rogue has way more cards I'm missing. you saying this would work and just replace the unstable?
I've never played wild before, but I want to check it out to make a proper decision about whether to dust or not at the switch this year. if I like wild I'll keep the cards for sure basically.

That's not a wild deck though. That's just someone who took their standard odd rogue list into wild. As you can see that deck doesn't run a single wild card. Myra's unstable element is pretty good in standard odd rogue, in wild... not so much.
The deck above is typically what odd rogues in wild run and as you've said earlier, they do indeed run a pirate package (which is pretty much mandatory).
As someone with over 200 ranked wins with odd rogue (standard and wild combined) I think myra's element is important and affects your winrate.
However, I cant tell you if its worth crafting because I dont know your collection, your playstyle (aggro/control) and your crafting priorities/dust. But I'm sure that this card will always be useful in every future aggro rogue deck.
I can tell you one thing for sure; Dont pay 800 dust for the crystalizers!!

yeah I had noticed there were no actual wild cards in the deck, but I mean it's not completely unfathomable as the same sort thing happens in standard where decks have none of the most recent cards in them at all.
I may craft the card still then for odd rogue in standard mode. The card will be sticking around for a while and there's nothing else I really need right now. with this card however it can make a deck I can build better and possibly more fun (which is really more important)
I could use this opportunity to craft cairne bloodhoof though as he always comes back and I never have him.
Hmm, do you think myra's might be decent in an espionage deck or a pogo deck or something as well? I have all the stuff to make those decks (death rattle too) as went nuts at boomsday with all the new stuff. I never opened either of the rogue legendaries though so have yet to try them yet.
It's a sad card. I thought for sure someone would figure out a clever way to use this card, but no one ever did. It just made it into an aggro deck and is used in a pretty boring way.

so how is it even used? I mean it is a weird card in that you mill yourself and start taking fatigue damage, so you must only be able to use it right at the end as like a last ditch attempt to survive or something?

It might work, but I'm not sure it's required. If you're looking for interesting rogue decks, someone has been doing pretty well at legend with a new variant of the good old miracle rogue, which also utilizes Myra's Unstable Element. If you end up crafting that card, you could give that deck a go. Captain Greenskin isn't mandatory in that deck as far as I know (in case you don't have him).
And lastly, even if standard odd rogue rotates out and wild odd rogue is quite a bit better than the standard version, that doesn't mean the current list is unplayable in wild. Especially at the lower ranks where you'll start if you're new to wild, the odd rogue list you posted will still do fine.

I already have those crystalizer dudes from when I was experimenting with warlock at the start of BD as they seemed cool for with those netherbuster guys.
I think I will craft unstable element then as I do play a lot of rogue decks. can't go wrong really. I do like my tempo rogue though and more weird decks that also could most likely benefit from it.
so what is the general game plan for using element please? I've never even seen it played before. (have been on a break though through the whole of BD. was only playing for like that first launch week.)

thanks. is this the deck linked? I will check it out.
and yeah, I don't have greenskin. I did actually have him once, but I dusted him. kind of regret it since I started playing rogue as he pops up a lot.
what kind of situation is it best to use the element in, just like a last ditch attempt to draw what you need to win?
Yeah Myra's unstable element is usually used as your last attempt to get some more burst and board presence in. Odd rogue usually uses it when they run out of cards in their hand and still need a few more points of damage to win the game.
In the miracle deck I linked it's also used to quickly summon all the 4/4s you shuffled into your deck.

I'm missing the weraponm for that deck you linked and the other new rare. you think they're worth crafting or should I just find a work around? I don't mind crafting the new ones, but the shadow blade rotates. I guess if I'm gonna play wild that shouldn't be much of an issue though.
this is the deck I just built... what do you reckon? (it's for standard) any alternations youd suggest?
I could go down the road of using those new banana guys and questing adventurer. I seen a canny good deck like that recently on here. has bloodknight as tech against zilliax and corpse takers as well (corpse takers are also something worth looking at if you take zilliax and argents, I dunno if I can take them in odd though, think that has to be tempo)
edit: yeah I need raiding party and shadowblade. I could easy replace them for now I guess though. I have loads of stuff for rogue.
you know if there's any footage of that pirate miracle deck? it looks pretty nice. obviously would be better with greenskin, but I might replace him with graal just because I have it, or zihi maybe?
what you think? I could craft those boarding parties and shadowblades.
The guy who pioneered it J Alexander streams on Twitch. You can probably find quite a bit of the deck being played in his vods: https://www.twitch.tv/j_alexander_hs
Raiding party is an extremely good card and very recent so will stay valid in rogue for a long time. I'd definitely craft that one if you're interested in the deck. The weapon is a different story though, like you said it'll be rotating out soon so if you have different, similar, weapons you could use those instead.
Your odd rogue build is extremely solid. Will probably get you to legend if you're good enough. I'm not sure about questing and bananadude in that deck though.
It's a sad card. I thought for sure someone would figure out a clever way to use this card, but no one ever did. It just made it into an aggro deck and is used in a pretty boring way.
It can be used in pogoshuffle or espionage decks.
Using it in aggro is stupid af. Makes more sense to prep/sprint. Rogue doesnt have a card draw problem at all.
