As the title states, I would like to know how big of an impact Taldaram brings in cube lock. I play both wild and standard ending around rank 3 /2 for both settings but I am looking to try out new decks (I have the rest of Cubelock decks for both settings).
Can anyone with an experience with cubelock help me out?
No, you can replace it with double Stonehill Defender. Even you can play with Voodoo Doll. Prince Taldaram may have the highest winrate of them all. But no, is not a core card in the deck.
It's an optional card for sure. While I don't like stonehill defender due to how handsize is often a problem for cubelock, you could also not run any 3s (opt for extra faceless instead) or run Voodoo Dolls
I don't have him, but I never liked how cubelocks sacrificed 3-drops for this legendary. It always seemed like an overkill to me. Imho the Faceless Manipulators are enough as value generators for your DK. You don't need to make your deck too greedy.
After the lackey nerf I remember seeing cubelocks running Stonehill Defenders, in order to stand better chances against aggro. So if you have a hard time against this archtype, you should definitely use them. In wild you are better off adding Sense Demons just like NightCrawl3r said. They will help you cycle through your deck faster and you have Voidcallers and the skull to cheat out the demons.

Achieved Legend: S49-Even Paladin, S58 (Wild)- Odd Rouge + Even Shaman

Taldaram provides a nice turn 10 play after Gul'Dan: Cube + Taldaram + Hero Power on Taldaram
It guarantees one doesn't get silenced, but other than that he's very replaceable.
Stonehill is good, like the other user said. More Voidlords are always nice.
Nature is the Day.
Man is the Sun.
Woman is the Moon.
The Stone is the Sky.
The Art is the Way.

In wild, you would actually rather run Sense Demons because you're using Voidcaller rather than Possessed Lackey to cheat out your demons
Legend with : S65 Freeze Mage, S57 Maly Gonk Druid, S57 "Okay" Shaman, S53 Boom-zooka Hunter, S53 Maly Tog Druid, S52 Wild Tog Druid ft.Blingtron, S50 Quest Rogue, S49 Dead Man's Warrior, S41 Wild Clown Fiesta Druid, S41 Hadronox Jade Druid, S40 Wild OTK Dragon Druid, S35 SMOrc Shaman, S33 Jade Druid, S22 Control Priest, S19 Control Priest
Its a flex card. Depends on how greedy you want your Cubelock.
Consider copying an enemy minion also.

Optimal lists play Taldaram. Take from that what you will.
