I think you can still manage infinite shudderwocks in standard.
One coppertail imposter will give you stealth for one turn. Not much kills a 6 health stealth minion.
Then you play grumble the next turn to get the 1 Mana shudderwock back. 1 Mana shudderwock gives you a 1 Mana grumble,and you can alternate them.
If that's the new Shudderwock variation it'll completely fall off the map competitively, thus for the majority of the playerbase seeing it as deleted (for now).

They even call out in the developers notes that this nerf is aimed at Shudderwock, so I will find it very upsetting if they don't provide a dust refund FOR shudderwock.

I think this nerf is one of the better ones they made. Not because of the shudderwock combo like they mentioned, but because it gets rid of a lot of zoo highroll. Getting a Soul Infusion or the keleseth buff on this thing would most likely just snowball the game and cause you to win and this nerf prevents that.
That being said, the card is still pretty decent in my opinion. 4 mana 4/6 worth of stats with two bodies and taunt is still really good, it just doesn't have the potential to just ruin your day for no reason.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
Is this a nerf to Hand Buffs and Prince Keleseth? Yes, and that's also good. Handbuff was always an odd niche, but it could get nutty sometimes (Val'anyr for example), but any nerf to Prince K can't come soon enough. I can't wait until that trash rotates out.
Saronite Chain Gang used to get a bigger buff from Keleseth than Sen'jin Shieldmasta, two +1/+1 buffs instead of one. Now, the two gain the same single +1/+1 buff.
I mean, if they charged Shudderwock 1 stat so that folks got dust back, I wouldn't complain, but the SCG nerf is also fine on it's own. SCG was nutty when you got a Prince Keleseth buff on it... and Surrender to Madness was also absurd.
Even if Shudderwock didn't exist, I don't think this would have been a bad nerf on the merits.

I don't like Shudderwock decks. However, I do like my hand buff Paladin and Zoolock decks. Therefore, this gets a no from me.

Wow, Shaman is really getting punched in the nuts this expansion.
Would have preferred nerf on Grumble, Worldshaker instead, so you can still use Zola the Gorgon to get 1 full cost Shudderwock per turn.
