Well aggro decks wouldnt even care about taunt arent they? And in wild its basically coridor creeper + level up in 1 card, which is why it is broken
Usually, Odd Paladin players care about having, for example, buffed Corridor Creepers behind a wall of taunts. Also, all those taunts help them a lot to protect their face when facing other aggressive decks.
Odd paladin would have disappeared into Wild soon enough. Even though Odd paladin, Shudderwock Shaman and Kingsbane Rogue are annoying af to play against, I don't like to see decks getting destroyed like this.
I dont know why people are so happy about the nerfs - hunters are already sooo strong, and they nerfed hunter biggest counter, its gonna get wild, its so unfun to play vs hunter - spellstone is too good for 5 mana (simply add stats of wolves) and two very good dk's, I dont know guys
it changes wild odd paladin a lot because you used both cards, the strongest lists used both level up and quartermaster to gwt a bunch of 3/3s and some 6/6s
I guess the meta report of HS replay say it's stronger with both, but personally I only run 1 "Level Up!" in my list, I always thought it was too heavy for the deck to have both, and it make it harder to empty the hand for a good Divine Favor with too much card that cost 5 or more.
Also, I played the deck a fair amount, and I think the 3/3 into 6/6 scenario never happened to me ever. Seems like a "win more" case and nothing more. As I said, I think the deck will be fine. The only problem will be the Big Priest resurgence that might occure because of the kingsbane nerf, so I'll have to think about a good card replacement that can be of use to win that specific match up.
I agree that taunt is an upside. For me it was however mostly the "sudden burst" that was important (however in this case again the additional 2/5 body doesn´t matter). I just remembered that in the reviews of this card basically everyone said that this card is not gonna see play beause quartermaster hardly saw any play. Of course, at that time baku was not around...
The only thing I don't like about this nerf is that it makes Quartermaster look much better in comparison, for 1 less mana you lose the taunt part (which I admit, can be a pretty big deal) but you gain a 2/5 body.

ohh i didnt say you ran 2 and 2, you usually ran 2 and 1 depending on the build, some more buff oriented builds would run 2 level ups and 1 quarter while more board centric builds would run 2 quarter and 1 level up, i ran 2 quarters just because of opponent's freezing traps allowing me to recycle them, but i kew people that swore by 2 level ups to stop odd rogue

As i didn't play for a long time i sharded every expansion card and legendary that got wild and crafted a 6700 odd pally some days ago... And now they're telling me that the archetype is dead. So... how can i play then? Fucking blizzard

Unidentified Maul is better with Taunt ? Or you d rather have the 1/1 s (Quartermaster) ? AoE Taunt pretty bad tbh,very situational thing.

This card is flatly unplayable outside of wild now, right? Probably not even in wild.

Saying Odd Paladin is dead because of this nerf is stupid, to say the least.
Odd Paladin will still be tier S, given its ability to spawn minions and buff them to hell.
