Another hard Handlock counter...Combined with Clockwork Giant and am sure a couple others down the road it's looking like Handlock won't be around nearly as much in the Meta.
Mill decks are weak and will continue to be weak..More cards your opponent has the more likely he will be able to counter whatever you play. Cards are power..Mill decks gives your opponent power and options...My Midrange Paladin would laugh as you feed me my Avenging Wraths, Wild pyro, Equality, Peacekeepers..List goes on.....can't even do it against Zoo..they'll either kill it or normally ignore it since they'll have more damage on the board and you'll have to go Defense. Mill decks just horrible. (Normally)
I really like this card. a 3 6/4 is amazing but as said, even as a 3 2/4 it's still an amazing value card in arena and even in normal constructed play. I like the fact that this isn't a battlecry and the effect is constant so as the opposing player, you can manipulate your hand if you have the room to do so, though at 4 health, it isn't impossible to kill off under normal ramming means.
overall, a nice and balanced card. it could even cause your opponent to go into plays earlier then they would have liked, simply to get their hand count lower so the mind game aspect of this card is very solid.
I like how they are currently supporting mill without giving them more cards that actually mill. Like rather then making it so they can mill you at such a fast rate you find yourself unable to respond, they introduce cards like this that benefit from your opponent having a full hand, like they would if you are playing a mill deck. It's kind of clever that way.

You thought there would be something inspirational here didn't you?
Basically mill support and some anti-Control, seems like a fine card, but it won't eradicate Handlock or anything because much like Harrison Jones it is rather niche and not that good outside of its circumstances. Should be an average or so Arena pick due to the 3 mana 2/4 body, maybe slightly below average.

i don't know how the hearthstone guys feels about mass milling but i know in other card games, making your opponent draw a lot and decking them out is typically considered an alternate win condition and, atleast from my yugioh standpoint, card companies tend to hate alternate win conditions like that and actively try to stop that from happening. hearthstone is also different in the fact that there is a hard limit on your hand so anything you draw after 10 is auto destroyed unlike some other games where the card limit is only applied at the end of your turn.
i could see the hearthstone guys supporting it in the sense that they release a lot of cards that rely on your opponent having lots of cards, but at the same time, they do nothing to actually help YOU, the miller, mill the deck. if they go with this approach, i think it would be very interesting, though i think a mill deck, atleast in hearstone, isn't an automatic lost like in other games so they might be able to get away with supporting hand milling.
I think this will be a staple in Paladin decks if they have a bit more earlier milling options.
I mean, a 3 mana 2/4 is already a decent body. However the upside makes it really awesome to use. If there is a card that makes your opponent draw a shitty card at the end of their turn like a bizarro nat pagle, I think this would be a really good card.

Exactly. I play Yugioh irl, but I've also playing some Magic the Gathering, and I find mill decks in both of those games incredibly annoying because there is little you can do to play around it. However I feel that currently, in Hearthstone, the idea of a mill deck is enough of a novelty where it's fun to play with and against.

always nice to meet fellow yugioh players. anyway ya, mill decks are still very primitive compared to other card games, with the only deck really able to mill is rogue and druid to some extent. i wouldn't mind them supporting it but mill decks are never fun to fight against cause attacking the hand or deck i feel just isn't a fun gameplay mechanic.
In all seriousness, this is an awesome build around card. It has decent stats for the cost, and the upside is really powerful if you build around it properly.

Pretty interesting card.
This is great against Handlock...!

The stats is fine for a 3 drop. Handlock, Miracle and Freeze Mage gonna dislike this card.
I love that they literally put a card in to answer 2 major meta decks.
Even as a 2/4 its pretty sick, its gona trade with 2drops and survive. Good arena card, good anti-handlock/miracle card.

I can see this being used in a mill deck, and maybe only 1 of, but I think it's a fine arena pick as a 3 for 2/4.

More and more cards towards Mill deck. Good!
Holy s***!!!!!!
Mill decks are going to be so strong in the upcoming expansion, this and clockwork giant give them the teeth they so desperately needed.
When life gives you lemons, trade'em for limes and get some Coronas!

Perfect Shockadin card, especially with Coldlight Oracles and King Mukla.
Unless explicitly stated, my posts are my opinion and mine only.
