It's really good in decks with low curves. As far as people calling it a 6 mana do nothing, your opponent have mana as if you had just made a turn 5 play, of which a 5/5 is just fine. Its also useful and has won me games vs OTKs. Where lotheb bought you 1 turn, he buys you 4, which is often enough to win.
i Know for rogues it’s being used in tempo decks and kingsbane decks. For tempo rogue I was able to use it twice(shadowstep) and completely stop a mage from using FLJ. So it definitely has potential.
