Unnerfed conditional Ironbeak Owl, decent in aggressive decks, still not sure if better than Spellbreaker for them.
It is, people only started playing Spellbreaker after Owl was nerfed. Before then, Owl was always king for aggro decks, Spellbreaker was almost never played.
Odd decks might play this if they could. What even deck is playing this over spellbreaker? Maybe you do.
For 1 more mana... That's exactly what the original Ironbeak Owl nerf was and now it's basically never played. Aggro decks just got their pre nerf Ironbeak back.
I would say that Blizzard has no idea about what's happening to their game, and that this card gives an Insane boost to an Archetype that has been dominating the Meta for the last 2-3 Years, but apparently people like it and then you realize that the majority of players left in Hearthstone are those Aggro players that everyone complained about 3 Years ago.
Well done, hearthstone has the lowest population it has EVER seen, the Twitch numbers are the Lowest they have ever been, and cards like that , cards like Patches, cards like Flegling are the reason for that.
Jokes on you though since, there are not many Control players left in this game, so this sh*t is useless in the mirror matches you are going to be playing from now on.
What ? Why you are so salty about a worse version of ironbeak owl ?

How does this card boost control even more? o.O

Because this card is the only one in this expansion, which is viable for aggro and there should be never ever any cards for aggro decks ever again, because they don´t let me play my overly greedy Timmy deck on rank 20!
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.

what are you talking about? the meta is currently mostly combo/control/midrange aggro is the weakest it has ever been
I'm glad they printed a silence that can't be used to silence the fun out of the game. Really, only aggro should have access to silence anyway, and that's because the game changes in an aggro matchup. But Odd Warriors with owls is no fun at all.
Odd warriors gameplan is to suck the fun out of the game, so it fits their deck perfectly though:P
Interesting card, I still think spellbreaker is better, mostly for the body.

Not a chance we see this in Zoolock, at least not until Keleseth rotates.

Truth. This also is a great anti Rin tool.

Ready for action!
Another neutral silence tech is never a bad thing and this particular one fits in Even Decks neatly.
*votes as very good*

I know. Owl was king not only cause it silenced taunts, but a big part Owl was so good cause the meta was ridden with good early non taunt drops which you could silence.. Nerubian Egg, Mad Scientist, Haunted Creeper, Acolyte of Pain, Knife Juggler and many others.
This won't show up in Aggro decks, because those decks are either Odd or run Prince Keleseth.
But after the rotation, maybe.
