Wow, hero power for first three turns for 1 mana, with additional deathrattle. I expected another crap weapon for rogue as usual, but this is meta-defining.
Thanks to this card pirate rogue doesn't HAS to be even(it's more consistent but this is a good option)
you run 2 of this, kingsbane and pirates, it's really good with the ticket guy.
Tempo Kingsbane is a deck close to viability, this was the last piece to make the strong tempo plays more impactful to allow Kingsbane value to win. I'm stunned that it even has the extra text, 1/3 weapon would have been enough I think. Potentially meta defining, but they didn't make enough pirates, so it'll be a mish-mash of stuff, as it should be.

The best way to actually do something well is have no idea what you're doing. Then what you're doing will become what you have no idea you're doing, at which point since you're doing what you're doing without knowing what you're doing you're doing what you're doing without knowing you're doing it.
Nobody seems to see the real potential of this weapon with Fal'dorei Strider in an heavy draw deck. If your spiders can attack directly, it's a real board swipe for rogue which are lacked it before now.
I'll give a try to this list day one (not the best sample, but wanna try pirates so badly :)))
Well, I was hoping for more tools for Pogo Rogue, but this will have to do. At least now when you're slapping down 17/17 Pogos you can do something right away, to clear the board a bit, but its still missing some stabilization and something to do once DK rotates.
Honestly this card just made Captain Hooktusk unplayable with all the resources Rogue has to draw pirates and play them. (prep, Raiding Party, play pirates, break weapon into pirates with rush with less rng and more planning)

This is good in rogue thanks to the cheap weapon buffs, but dunno if they need it. Odd rogue certainly doesn't.
edit - oh, this gives rush to all friendly minions. This weapon became more desirable.

One of the best cards in the set. Remember, your hero power always activates the weapon in a pinch.
