I guess its alright. It has the same weakness as all the other Elemental cards where the condition is really annoying and is actually much worse on reactive cards like this and Arcanosaur since your opponent can read when you play it. Probably don't want to play this anywhere.
Adequate, but predictable by your opponent which is never optimal. With Wing Blast, at least minions dying is a fairly common, almost universal occurrence.

I guess it's my WoW-sense talking here, but if it's a Tauren caster and it's focused on elementals, this should be a Shaman card, not a Mage card. Strange that they chose a Tauren as an image here instead of a standard 'Mage'-race.
OT: playable for sure in an elemental deck, but not ground-breaking.

Worse than Wing Blast because it can't be set up and discounted on the turn you need it - you either have to plan to use it on an existing enemy minion or try to predict that it will be useful one turn in the future (unlike other elemental synergies that are pretty much always useful). Could be good if your deck has so many elementals that you're basically playing one every turn anyway, but a deck like that probably won't be very competitive.
Seems like a missed opportunity to add an overkill effect to a card like this, since the minions you plan to use it on may easily take damage before it's discounted
Elemental decks usually generate tons of value but it's all trapped in their hand while their opponents generate tempo and board presence. This is a good tool to generate tempo.

the tauren is the target not the caster
Oh wow, you're right, then it does make sense. Thanks for the correction!

I can see it being played in an elemental deck I suppose. But to be honest I'd have to see a new elemental deck to be truly convinced of that.
This one has an ungly art, but I like the spell. Ele mage has tons of elementals, which will keep the chain going.
With the last 2 cards ( 6 mana 3/3 and this spell) elemental mage has a some nice reactive tools to deal with the board. They will still be treated as a mid-range deck, but now it will deal far better with annoying minions (Hench-Clan Thug, Vicious Fledgling), taunts and boards. So this will make the deck more competitive.

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the "prep" spell for elementals ; this one goes in the same direction. I really like it as it's what elemental mage needs : a way to utilize the value they generate without spending 15 turns emptying your hand.
I kinda have the feeling that it's still not going to be enough though. Every expension i'm like "yeaah one or two cards for elemental mage" but it's never good enough x). Let's hope !

nice spell support for elemental mage
Hello Wing Blast
Strong removal for elemental mage

Great tempo card.
Wow so unoriginal cards this expansion. There are many interesting cards but many old mechanics, come on Blizzard. Wing Blast for mage.

I mean, this type of cards can be quite strong. I'm just not sure it's something mage needs.

Oh, Lethal - where did you go? I miss you all the time.

Amazing card for Elementals. Book of Specters has no place in Elemental decks anyway.

It is decent, but why only minions? Mage is in a very bad place right now, and would some very strong cards to get back...
