People are seriously sleeping on this card. You can use Whispering Woods and Soul of the Forest, trade into the opponent's board or survive a board clear, then play this card and have a HUGE tempo swing.
Pretty broken in Token Druid. Soul of the Forest your 1/1 tokens, trade next turn, then play this to get a board of 5/5s which will be very hard to remove.
I don't think this is enough to make treant druid a thing (even if Mulchmuncher or whatever it's called is waiting in the wings), but it does have some nifty little stuff. It's not worth running Force of Nature for it (imo), but that would be 2 cards and 10 mana for 19/19 across 3 bodies.
Landscaping is actually a half decent card that just doesn't have a home yet, but this and that would be a 2 card, 8 mana combo for 14/14 in stats across 3.
If token druid rears its head again Soul of the Forest makes tokens that this could make huge.
And in wild, if you Poison Seeds you can use this to make your board much bigger than your opponent's (though Starfall is probably still the better comboer).
Level Up! or a Quartermaster for Druid. The big problem is that it transforms, not buffs, so they can’t immediately attack.
The deck could be great, the deck could struggle. It’s all in the support cards and the meta. But this is the type of card to create a new competitive deck.
The best way to actually do something well is have no idea what you're doing. Then what you're doing will become what you have no idea you're doing, at which point since you're doing what you're doing without knowing what you're doing you're doing what you're doing without knowing you're doing it.
I was already trying a token Druid list earlier this week and I think this can really push it over the top with one or two other cards from the set maybe.
This is complete trash garbage because you can't use it on living mana treants, and because you can't use the bonus stats the turn you play it. Cenarius and the Boomsday one are infinitely better than this for buffing treants.
As someone that has taken token druid a couple times to rank 1, i really think this has great potential as a 1 off. People are correct that treants won't stick all the time but when they do, this could be great. I'm speaking strictly about decks using soul of the forrest.
This is a very powerful inclusion in token treant druid. People argue, that this card is weak, only because the ancients don't have charge/rush.
Leute, if you have Savage Roar and lethal with it, then of course you will go for the kill. This card gives your treants on the board an unsilencable +3/+3 buff. Yes, it's a bit anty-sinergistic with the 8/8, but the latter card can be cut in favour for the Treespeaker. The most optimal time to play this is after Soul of the Forest. It can also be used in combination with Living Mana, but you have to sacrifice some tokens, in order to get the mana crystals back. But don't be scared if you are 3-4 crystals behind the enemy - if you play an aggressive deck, then you don't need them. It's better to keep pressuring your opponent.
I know what some people are going to say "But, Kovachut, the current token druid doesn't play many treants. Instead it benefits from card draw (Wispering Woods) and UI. Why would I use this?" - to which I would say - the deck's tactics can change. You won't make a brand new deck, but you will include a strong package. I remember how back in Un'goro I struggled to defeat token druids decks sometimes, when I didn't have all of the answers in my hand. One of their strengths is forming waves of aggressive minions. If I can't deal with a certain wave, then I will lose the game. The Treespeaker gives druid players yet another opportunity to make an aggressive play, which needs to be answered.
Go Lorax

Token druid here we go

Tell that too Token Druids, cuz they have no problem buffing a board and going face with it the next turn!!
Blizz: hey lets force an underwhelming arche with a broken win-more card
QA: ok
Its feast or famine, its like Level Up but worse, I hate this stuff
LOL DRUID
The Lorax

Not really fair to Druid. The 5/5s should have Taunt and Lifesteal.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
I think this is pretty good, and druid will find a way to exploit it.
Without extra support it is just meh. Some meme potential is present though so I vote as playable.
I was already trying a token Druid list earlier this week and I think this can really push it over the top with one or two other cards from the set maybe.
This space is intentionally blank.
This will be opressive in wild.

Force of Nature is back from 2014!
