Please forget all the things about Dr. Boom, Mad Genius or The Boomship: If the wording is correct, it only affects minions that have Rush, not minions that gained Rush by any effect that gave them Rush.
Only minions with Rush (not minions that gained rush) are affected!
the axe that gives a rush minion +2+1 also gives it to minions who gained rush, so they are rush minions
And why does then N'Zoth, the Corruptor does not summon minions that gained Deathrattle through another effect? Because they aren't. That a minion that gained rush gain the buff from the Axe is crystal clear: because at the time he is on board, he is counted as a rush-minion, and gained the effect. Was with taunt the case since Vanilla, since you could always destroy a minion that gained Taunt from Defender of Argus with The Black Knight But when you summon a minion without rush, by the time it was summoned, it didn't had rush and normally should not be affected by it.
But: there's a big difference between Boomship, Rocket Boots and Dr. Boom. While i personally think that Boomship and Rocket Boots are not affected by the spirit, Dr. Boom is different, because it's an Aura. And since it's probably a copy&paste of the aura of C'thun, mechs might actually be immune to them, since they probably always have Rush.
Still: it might be true that all or none of the mentioned things are affected by it; blizzard is here simply too inconsistent.
It wouldn't be inconsistent if it synergized with The Boomship or Rocket Boots. The effect is not on-summon, but a permanent aura. Just like I expect it to work if you summon a Rush minion and then play the Spirit, it should make a minion Immune after gaining Rush, provided it gains Rush the same turn it's played (which will be the case unless the player makes a mistake)
The case of N'Zoth, the Corruptor is different because when a minion leaves the battlefield, it loses all enchantments unless it's specified in the card's text (Immortal Prelate).
Well, the synergy with the loa is insane, much better than I expected it to be. You know how good akali is when he takes NO DAMAGE while he overkills? Chances of drawing a rush minion and giving it +5/+5 twice with akali have just increased by a lot. Oh and those rush minions you drew with him? They'll be immune too because you have this spirit for two turns.
Bonkers. Also, just good in any deck with a decent amount of rush minions.
N'zoth is different because the minions it checks when played have moved board state. Because of that they have lost any enchantments, like effects that gave them deathrattle.
Here the minions are on the board and have the rush buff on them. So I can imagine the Spirit working with both Boomship and Dr Boom hero. (but Blizzard can be pretty inconsistent so who knows, we need a dev to confirm)
We need some definitive answers on how this card works with boomship, Dr. Boom, etc, also it says 'when summoned' does that mean rush cards played from your hand do not count for the effect?

Also there are Gather your party and Woecleaver. And 2 mana rush axe gives buff to the minions that doesnt have rush initially so i guess this could work with Boomship

Bummer, I guess Boomship will continue to sit unused.
I’m skeptical as to whether it’ll actually be included in a top-tier deck but purely judged on its own merits it’s a strong card. The big problem with tempo/rush decks is that rush minion often have OK health, but you’re using them to clear and therefore they typically die on use, basically making them a less useful charge minion and often neutral in terms of tempo unless you have a conveniently low-attack minion to target. This totally negates that, giving you massive tempo gains from rush minions. Plus it works with Dr Boom, which is already a decent card.
But this is a tempo card, and rush minions are too reactive to form a tempo deck. If there is nothing to attack into, you're left with a bunch of bad minions.
Rush minions have always been been great vs aggro, and bad vs ctrl. This just make them even better vs aggro/tempo, and is a bad card vs ctrl (It's does nothing)
Good, but the problem with Rush is that you cannot go face :( Because of this, Rush Warrior will never be a thing, so this is only a nice support for the Rush package which you can put in Control Warrior. Which will not be a thing until the next rotation at least.

Thats why we need mix in Dragon . Lolz. Pure rush deck never work. But include beefy midrange dragon in the mix, like twightlight drake , emberscale dragon and bonedrake, which you can safely slam on board in all matchup because your rush minion doing all the clean up work. We can run Keseleth now since we have 3 mana execute. Soon your opponent get overwhelmed with so many overbuff minion, even the hardest control deck
1 mana, your minions gain immune for two turns when attacking? Thats as strong a card ive seen. Can be comboed with any form of rush minion for an immediate push for board. Also lots of great rush minions for warrior this expansion....especially with new dr boom.
I don't see the hype. Makes matchups that rush warrior was already good at better. Makes deck worse vs decks it was not good against. Deck wasn't that great vs a lot of decks to begin with.
I see this as a meta dependent card for a deck that is also meta dependent. Personally if I'm just looking to target aggro/tempo I go with control warlock over this anyway.

Exactly my point earlier, glad someone else also sees it :D

This feels like one of the better spirits.
The fact that it combos with Boomship is really nice.

This is the dumbest criticism of any card.

Impressive. Cover the rush minions weakness.
This is a playable spirit. you are suposse to drop a spirit and play something else the same turn, not like the paladin one, too slow or heavy
Also there are Gather your party and Woecleaver. And 2 mana rush axe gives buff to the minions that doesnt have rush initially so i guess this could work with Boomship
Dr boom odd warrior tool, rush tool, makes akali not as underwhelming. I like it.
First true meta-defining reveal
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
Can anyone explain the hype for this card?
Seems very mediocre

more rush warrior support! wonder if this deck will finally happen.. it didn't had many cards previously.. immune is a really strong effect,

Has this question been answered?
"Your RUSH minions" is different from "Your minions with RUSH" right? So the Boomship/Dr. Boom dream isn't real?
