I can already see some funny potential with one of the Hunters running a Flare and using the Hero Card after the opponent's Zul'Jin Flare all the 5 Secrets .
Not sure why people are saying the card is bad, Sure the hero power is boring garbage compared to the rest of the hero powers but the battlecry is nuts, this will see play in both secret hunter and subject 9 hunter , no doubt. At least while Too my side , and emerald spellstone are in the rotation.
Deal 2 damage to anything you want is still a pretty good hero power for a hunter deck. Besides - the battlecry is obviously meant to be a game-winning effect - if you don't win in the next couple of turns after playing this then it's because you weren't able to set it up properly. Besides, what deck other than Spell hunter did people expect to get a hero card for? This can work in pretty much any hunter deck anyway and actually adds more strategy when planning which spells to cast before playing it to maximize value. Hunter doesn't need another Deathstalker hero card right now (although you'll still be able to run it along with this card until April anyway).
The only problem with this card design is that there's not much your opponent an do to proactively counter it besides rush you down before turn 10 - especially now that Hunter is getting more draw - it's basically gonna be the first hunter combo.

Oh, Lethal - where did you go? I miss you all the time.
Great theory craft idea (makes me wanna spend the dust to craft the hunter quest lol) but you'd still need to make about half of your deck one cost minions. That might be restrictive enough to make it not worth using Zuljin.
Control/Spell hunter is not a thing, especially when the support is 10 mana.
HSReplays is currently tracking Spell Hunter near the top of Tier 2, with a 53% win-rate.
The new card plants a Christmas Tree, summons a full board of 3/3s and Animal Companions, and randomly kills a bunch of stuff with targeted removal. Seems pretty good.
At least at first, this will probably not see huge amounts of play because of the competition from Deathstalker Rexxar. But once that rotates out, this card will take over that role as late-game win condition for hunter.
I like that it requires more deck-building than the death Knight as well, which is just auto-value for the rest of the game.
There is a huuuuge difference between some 3 drop beasts like wolves and animal companions/ hounds and a full board of Voidlords Doomguards (and Mal'Ganis ) Worse bc most of the time and inferior hp. I dont really get the hype about this card, close to hot dust.

since when 5secrets indtantly played are bad. And most of the tame Guldan geta at best two voidlords
Secrets only maatter against fast matchups and as spellstone activator against slower opponents. Guess what an odd warrior/shudder shaman/malytogg druid/ctrl lock/combo priest/ctrl lock/ etc... is gonna do with your secrets ? U guessed it right, nothing at all. They just grind you out, while you are sitting there with a X-Mas tree that wont ever get triggered, bcuz they have no intention attacking your face at all. They just sit there and wait for you to bleed out.... and you will die first, since tracking makes you ahead in fatigue.
Honestly the battlecry is so strong that it makes sense for the hero power to not be as good as those for the other hero cards. I for one prefer a strong on play effect and a weak hero power to it being the other way around, because let's face it, crazy strong hero powers like those for frostlich jaina, bloodreaver guldan and deathstalker rexxar are just not fun to play against.

I think yes, spellstones spell names are changing after upgrade

Arch-Thief Rafaam value!
Here's a theorycraft on a potential Reno Hunter in wild:
Add me up if you're looking for someone to play friendly matches with! I play on EU. LuckyScrub#2745
Reminds me of Shudderwock. So, immediately he doesn't seem amazing but I'm guessing he's a bit less-obvious of a sleeper.
I'm glad with got a new Hero card. A surprise to me unless they already suggested we were getting one.
So let's compare this to Gul'dan:
Points 4 and 7 neutralize each other, so it is "secrets" vs extra damage and lifesteal hp. I find Gul'dan straight better.
Nope, Your oponent wil probably just play Zuljin after that.
Pretty good, but prety boring.
You should have just given the hero power an overkill effect

Recycled effect
Cookie Cutter Art
Lackluster hero power
yay? :(

Painfully unoriginal card design. But a cool card nonetheless.
The hero power is actually decent since you're probly deathstalker b4 zul'jin in most cases, and this lets you go back to chipping damage.
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.

.... in secret hunter this is 10 mana fill your boards with wolves and animal companions plus play all the secrets...
if you say this card is bad, you are dumb. this is turn 10 insta-win
I guess im weird thinking that replaying every secret, summoning, and damage spell without losing your hero power as a damage dealer, is cool?
Ah well more shenanigans for me
Hi i'm Tyler and I play hearthstone and watch anime.
Sometimes i make cards. I'd like to do that for a career one day if ever possible.

Possibly, but if they cast 2xUI already and they go off before the King's Ransom, they're going to mill themselves to death 90% of the time!
