Insane card that will be the new Hunter meta! You basically build an all spell hunter deck that does nothing but summons beasts and has secrets, then turn 10 you reload your board, get 5 secrets, and clear your opponents board! Throw in the legendary weapon for hand refill! To use boomzooka with this card is a waste and the RNG if Boomzooka or Rez your beasts will happen first, so avoid the demo they did in the video.
While it may be cool to cast a bunch of Secret, Animal Companion, To My Side!, Spell Hunters also have a bunch of cards that you don't want to cast randomly. All the direct damage spells, Tracking etc.
I think his has tons of potential. The swing turn could be huge with secrets, animal companions and spellstones ensuring your face is protected and you have a full board. Spells like flanking strikes and crushing walls will clear theirs as well.
Just summoning a board full of Wolves and Animal Companions while playing every secret you have is already fantastic. You also can build your deck around it. I agree, however, that the hero power would be much cooler if the damage it dealt increased the lower your health is. It's so much worse than Guldan's it is pretty depressing.
Considering that guldan is the second best deathknight, i think that's fine
Everybody is missing a really important point here. You can complete the Quest twice with this!!! (And with all the broods the second completion is really easy!) One Quest was not good enough for Hunter, they need atleast 2/game!
Jokes aside, this is not a bad card, it will 100% see play after rotation and people like Kibler will make it work before that too.
think about it as a 10 mana spell that makes your hero power better , summons 5 secrets 2 animal companions 2 by my sides 2 deadly shots 2 spell stones , the 7 mana spell that kills two minions simply a bonkers card ,and if u say rexxar is better then play it after or simply play it before grind you opponent with rexxar and then use it as a finisher.
Obviously it’s miles better than Yogg, lol. The card itself is the epitome of lazy design, but it’s super powerful nonetheless because some of the best Hunter spells are non-targeted (secrets, spellstone, animal companion, etc.)
Most Hunters these days play Tracking and ... well Zul'Jin really fatigues you if you play it early. Or .... you might want to fatigue faster and play a "Spell Hunter" Mecha'thun deck?
Wow, what a wasted opportunity... Yes, gameplay wise, its a great finisher for Spell Hunter... But come on, how does the thematics come together? What does a one-armed axe-flinging beserker troll has to do with casting alot of random spells? And the Hero Power is just so lack-luster... This has got to be one of the most uninspiring Hero Cards ever printet.... Even counting the Card Competitions ;)
I rate it 4 stars in balance (Hero Power on the weak side), 1 in design.
I'm surprised by all the complaints about how "boring" this card is. Maybe Dr. Boom, Mad Genius's crazy design set the bar too high? Who cares if it doesn't "feel" like Zul'jin, this DK is an excellent finisher, especially for spell-heavy Hunter decks (Secret Hunter mostly). As if playing two upgraded Lesser Emerald Spellstones in the game isn't frustrating enough for most opponents, imagine having another card that would refill your board with those damn wolves late in the game. I'm crafting this on day one, assuming I don't get it from one of my packs.
The hero power is plain boring. It’s the same like mages upgraded hero power, fire blast rank 2. The battle cry though, although unoriginal , is definitely going to be fun and entertaining. If yoga was a big hit then, this sure will be now
Hero power is garbage and the hero is 10 mana, thats a lot for hunter. But the effect is kinda cool for a spell hunter I guess. But overall hero power won't win you the game and the effext most likely not too, you do expect a 10 mana card to win you games.

I'm dissappointed to see this hero card. It's very good nonetheless, but I was really hoping for something more original!
Add me up if you're looking for someone to play friendly matches with! I play on EU. LuckyScrub#2745
Cool effect, but worthless. At least until Deathstalker Rexxar rotates out.

Hero power should be buffed to 3 dmg.
I think it is a great card (and when it will be played most will acknowledge its strength).
People are just complaining because they expected something absurdly broken

There is only my justice now

Will zuljin summon 4 wolves if a fully upgraded spellstone was cast?
yes, it's considered an unique spell

A buff to Academic Espionage versus hunter.
Not sure if hyped yet.

Release the Kraken!

I just figured it out but this Hero Card is a big counter to King Togwaggle Druid because it casts the Ransom again.
Zul'Jin loves to pay King's Ransom

Would it be overkill to run Zul'jin and Deathstalker Rexxar in one deck?
This pretty powerful considering people used to play call of the wild as a finisher.

Does ultrasaur even need to Attack to win games?
