Aaaaaand yet another card I was super excited for and they focused more on pushing some bs deck than actually trying to satisfy the thematic (looking at you priest cards) this will probably be played yea but this does NOT feel like Zul'jin, the hero power should've damaged yourself but given you or maybe your minions + attack for that turn then it would fit the berserker feel this is just... it feels like they crammed it in for the sake of cramming it in rather than trying to fit the character into the game like they have before most of the other cards I don't have much of a nitpick for in this regard but come on blizzard
What are you guys talking about? This is basically fill your board with 3/3,4/2,4/4 play like 3 to 5 secrets and then you have quite nice board control hero power. Is it betterthan rexxar or other op death knights that right now break the game? No it is not and that is great!
I for one cant wait for guldan, jaina, rexxar, anduin to go away from being an autopick in every deck.Right now those hero cards are literally win the game many times.

Yeah I suppose if you play it when all you have done is cast a few secrets and animal companion a few times. Obviously the only hunter spells out there~
It's really good, of course, but having played a lot of spell hunter over the past year would this replace Deathstalker? Better battlecry, worse hero power, though that battlecry will be huge value if you can set it up right.
That said, after rotation if the deck can survive its other lost cards this would be an auto-include.
Hero power is garbage and the hero is 10 mana, thats a lot for hunter. But the effect is kinda cool for a spell hunter I guess. But overall hero power won't win you the game and the effext most likely not too, you do expect a 10 mana card to win you games.
this is pretty nuts. board full of minions, all your secrets back down, opponents board gets picked apart,
don't compare it to rexxar or the DK's. Compare it to Hagatha and Boom. It doesn't have the long term value of those but the battlecry is a gigantic tempo swing and burst of value. This battlecry strength is comparable to Gul'dan.
I like the Battlecry for the card a lot.... But i see absolutely no reason why this has to be a Hero Card.
The Hero Power is barely an upgrade, so the Battlecry effect is the only really valuable thing about the card. II guess the only reason this can't just be a minion, is because of how Yogg sops casting when he dies.
Really like the Battlecry, although i'm exceptionally disappointed by the Hero Power.

The hero power should do 2-3-4 damage changing with how much health you have left, as if you were a real berserker.
Team 5 usually doesn’t give a fuck about sticking to WoW lore. Which can be a good thing, and a bad thing at the same time. This is the time when it’s bad, imo, because they could’ve used his abilities in wow to make something creative, but instead they decided to not put any thought at all, and prolly farted this out in couple of minutes.
People are overestimating the amount of spells you'll need to cast for this to be good imo. It can fit in a normal Mid-range Hunter deck as a finisher, by giving you a bunch of Animal Companions, Secrets and Spellstone Wolves.
Control/Spell hunter is not a thing, especially when the support is 10 mana.
I wonder sometimes how many people in the forums play the game, I mean.. spell hunter is an archtype of hunter, it's tier 2 consistantly since the nerfs to cubelock and paladin, and buff to rexxar.
it's not a support card, but a finisher this card is very strong board control tool will most of the time win you the board outright and get every secret you played this game, that's a game winning play, and another reason to play a spell heavy hunter deck.
BTW the hero power is so boring... at least it always upgrades your hero power unless you are already dk rexxar
This is one weirdly lopsided hero card. I THINK this is by far the most powerful battlecry we've ever seen on a hero card? And the hunter hero power is already good at closing out games. So I guess they didn't want to fiddle with that. I feel like it could have been more creative with it. Even if the power level had to be reasonably low.

Wow, what rock have you been living under? Spell hunter has been a tier 1 deck this year. And it's not that far out of the meta right now. The 'lol control hunter' memes should be long gone by now, it's already been proven to work and this card is an insanely powerful tool for it.

I was disappointed in the battle cry and its hero power so basic, I prefer 1000 times the DK

That is why it sees no play. Just for you - You EXPECT 10 mana card to win you games.

With the right combination, this battlecry could be like a mysterious challenger from hell.

POG Kill Command your own face twice!
It’s a curated Yogg. Excellent! Can’t wait to play with this.
Dibbity don't touch that!

Playable, but is it really worth 10 mana?

This is awful :(
