Great flexibility for three mana. Sometimes that extra spell damage and 4damagd to a minion is good. It also consist of like about 3 to 4 cards in one.
For shamman doh.... bad 3 cost evolutions in comming
The biggest problem is that the closest thing to a 'generally good' form for this thing is the Giant Wasp or the 1/6 Taunt and both of those are really bad. Most choose one card that sees play has at least one form which is almost always reasonable and something you could consider playing even if it didn't have the choose-one. We know Giant Wasp isn't good enough for Druid because Druids don't play Giant Wasp and a 1/6 Taunt is... well... really bad. Maybe you would make an argument that Rush is ok but most of the Druids fazed out Feral Rage after a while because Shadow Bolt isn't good enough.
Right now I think all of the forms are way too underwhelming to want to play. Really this card is so close to being good. All it would take is for just ONE of the forms to be good enough to play on its own. Like if either one of the spell Damage or Taunt ones were 2/5s this would probably be good enough. But they're not so instead you're playing Dalaran Mage or a slightly better Silverback Patriarch which doesn't feel great.
Cool card design and very versatile indeed but there are definitely a couple stronger ones that will probably be chosen most of the times, The 4/2 rush one is for sure gonna be the most played one and then you choose the 1/6 taunt on curve against aggro. The 1/2 stealth poisonous doesn't seem too good as you will usually want to play it vs. control type decks to eliminate a big minion but they can just kill this with AoE but could still be clutch from time to time. The short end of the stick is definitely for the 1/4 with spell dmg as those are terrible stats for the cost and the +1 dmg is not relevant or impactful enough to justify it. But again it's cool to have the versatility I guess, not sure it will see too much play on standard, at least until rotation.
You see, with Branching Paths you choosing twice. 2 is more than 1, thats the trick. If you would be allowed to choose 2 forms out of 4 that would really be decent card. As it is wothout Fandral effect - this legendary is straight up trash, not worth legendary status. One saving grace this card could have - if it could be handbuffed, but since text says transform - thats not gonna happen.

That's not how you evaluate a card. Flexibility makes this card and it's not like the forms are really bad. Every matchup has a useful form. Against Odd Paladin, 1/6 Taunt on 3 is a big play. Against Odd Rogue removing an early Hench Clan Thug with 4/2 Rush can be big. Against evenlock poison on turn 3 will deny his giant or deathrattle hunter before turn 8 will deny Kathrena. Then you can use Spell Damage in combination with Swipe or Starfall.
This barely deserved to be an epic card, never mind a legendary.
Ladies and gentleman, this is why Hearthstone fucking sucks lol.
Not because of the developers or the cards, but because the cards aren't simple enough for the people.
If it requires you to think, to employ strategy, then it's a terrible card.
You consider this a thought provoking, skill testing card? Please.... This game doesn’t have those aspects, it’s deliberately dumbed down. That’s why it’s fun to play just a couple of games here and there. Leave the incessant grinding to the easily entertained.
People shits and blame blizzard cause of druid is everywhere and only gets broken stuff every expansion
Blizzard make a pretty good legendary, flexible and balanced, but not overpowered as all the druid stuff
Then people shits and blame blame blizzard causa they revealed druid cards that THOSE PEOPLE, think are thrash and not overpowered like druids usual stuff
----------------------------------------------
If this card ends being broken cause who knows, game things, meta, coff coff keleseth coff coff dr boom coff coff quest rogue coff coff etc. People will shit and blame blizzard cause druids keep getting broken stuff.
Conclusion, people loves to cry, and they will do it no matter what, now is druid, before was cubelock, raza priest pirate warrior, face hunter dr boom, grim patron, corridor creeper, keleseth, etc, and next who knows which will the core of the hate, but there will he one.
Why do they keep overevaluating "spell damage +1" so much? That option will never be played, why do they believe it should have 2 less health than the Taunt one?
That minion is very far away from being worth 3 mana, the others are ok, I guess.
She's like a worse Kalimos, Primal Lord, a jack of all trades doing many different things equally bad. Except for the Rush-part, but Druid of the Scythe can do that too.
If Druid's gameplan is so loose that you can include a card like this in your deck, it's probably a bad sign for the class as a whole. Maybe if Spiteful Druid was still a thing. But times have changed, and weak/mediocre cards have no place in the game outside of Arena.
Of course, I don't know what the game will look like after the rotation next year, but I doubt that the game will ever get to a point again where you can include a card like this.
Think this is being underrated, though the power level of the options could have been pushed a BIT more, the INSANE flexibility makes up for it. People thought branching paths was weak initially too, because the options, on their own, are weak, but it's the flexibility that makes it a strong card.
Don't think it's an incredible card, but do think it'll see solid constructed play.
Probably one of the most bland legendaries ever, especially in standard, since Fandral rotated out, a prime example of what lazy design and lack of genuine ideas looks like. Basically you can choose one of 4 common cards, which historically have proven to be mediocre at best. It might be played, but it just reeks of boredom.
Not sure why Druid receiving shit legendaries makes every druid hater happy. Druid has been getting shitty legendaries for 3 expansions already, only thing this accomplishes is reducing viable alternatives to wild-growth spreading plague combo decks. People will still play those, fun...

Huffer is insulted by your comparison! Loti is weak trading minion. Huffer know the place. Huffer goes face!

So glad Druid is getting trash! More mediocre beast synergies please.
Dibbity don't touch that!

Funny to see people thinking this is a weak legendary. I think this is autoplay in every druid except Hadronox.

Autoinclude in any Wild deck that runs Fandral. Otherwise might see play somewhere in Standard but will probably be easily replacable.
Hoping for a Fandral effect in this expansion so we can play our 3 mana keyword soup.

Release the Kraken!
Is the flexibility worth those mediocre effects? I'm not sure, gave it Playable but I'm not sure it'll see play once a new meta has settled in.
