I like the concept of the card being really flexible. Sadly, all 4 of those forms are just awful in general. Obviously, this won't see the light of day in Standard until rotation. After rotation, this card does give some decent options. If this card was an epic rather than legendary, I would be much more happier. However, this makes up for having the Dreampetal Florist last exp, which could of been a legendary easily.
It's good, but not great. The versatility is pretty nice and it won't mess with big beast decks since it's a druid. Potentially a good addition to a lot of druid decks that want that versatility.
The options are all decidedly average, and this is DEFINITELY a direction I'd rather see Druid heading in.
Card printed solely for Wild? its nice seeing Team 5 giving wild some love and Standard trash. i mean in standard all of the choose one is a common card for each of those types
Sure all the forms are kind eh in terms of stats and strength, but having 4 options to choose from is pretty damn good. Never underestimate flexibility
As much as I would LOVE to declare this Druid legendary terrible, Blizzard may yet decide to release a Fandrel effect in one of the upcoming cards that does something stupidly overpowered.
Is it just me or someone else also think that this card is just "too fair" to be a legendary card? What I mean is that this is a good card, it's very flexible but in my opinion it feels like this card could easily be just epic, it doesn't feel like a legendary card, the transformations are good, this card is going to see play for sure but I don't think the card has a legendary effect
For a legendary you would think it would have better stats... Each form that it can take has stats worse (or the same as) common cards already printed..
Very strong in wild with Fandral, guaranted removal+ poisonous taunt or stealthed high health spell damage. If you think about it, its a very much stronger version of Voljin + Aunchenai/Damage combo. Removal is what druid lacks the most and this card does it well, not to mention the possibilities.
Based on the comments I'm seeing, this will be the single most underrated card of the set by far. None of the forms are great by themselves, but they are all situationally strong and cover a lot of different situations. This never sits in your hand.
I am really not impressed :(. But I guess it's okay for druid to have some "meh" cards (and a legendary for that matter, hi Duskfallen Aviana).

4 diferent forms, 4 are decent depending on what situation, and fandral's form in wild is so good, i don't understand why people hates this, this legendary is pretty good, i maybe would make the spell damage form a 1/5m but that's it, is not broken, but is flexible and druids love flexible cards.

Strong only in flexibility, not in its actual power level.
Kinda boring, but boring druid legendary effects with flexible fits have proven strong

Now that Team 5 has set a new precedent again, they should change the word 'both' to 'All' on Fandral Staghelm for consistency.
finally a druid card that is not broken.. who knew!

Animal companion with worse options, but you can choose which one you get. Meh...
You mean people underrate flexibility as always.

Ladies and gentleman, this is why Hearthstone fucking sucks lol.
Not because of the developers or the cards, but because the cards aren't simple enough for the people.
If it requires you to think, to employ strategy, then it's a terrible card.

Branching Paths
Seems like a “nice to have” kind of card. Can be played in a variety of decks, but there will always be better options honestly.
