Hmmmm. Could be good. Turn 10 play this with new weapon equipped, play +3/+3 enrage spell on it. It's 8/7 rush. Smashes something and draws a rush minion and gives it +5/+5. As long as it gets off its overkill it could be worth, especially if it lands on Darius. If it overkills twice then its huge so it has to be removed immediately. Any minion that can do what this can do right way and then HAS to be removed is good.
Quest/Beast/Recruit warrior? It could run this, oondasta, Armani War bears, Mammoths, Charged Devilsaurs, Direhorn Hatchlings, Witchwood Grizzlies, etc.
For those of you keeping track, Oondasta can now fit into at least 4 classes: the already existing Deathrattle Hunter, Big Beast Druid, a support card for Paladin decks running Shirvallah, the Tiger, and now this Rush package in Warrior decks.
Never mind the fact that Akali immediately impacts the board even when you just cast it outright. Never mind the fact that there exist a few cards to cheat this out from either your hand or your deck. Never mind that the card draw tutors out specifically Rush minions, and even the fact that even the stats it gives out are fast as well. If this stays alive, all of that applies again next turn. This is a tremendous tempo swing and win condition that Warrior would absolutely build around.
Stats are too low imo. You need to kill something with 4 HP to get the effect to go off, and by turn 8 if you're playing against Control, then that's hard to do and against Aggro this card is hardly something you'll be able to do that late in the game.
Im really not convinced this will see play, as the Overkill tag is 100% nessicary to making this worth playing (otherwise its 8 mana to remove a 5 HP target), and 8 mana makes it extremely hard to relaibly set up a situation in which you can Overkill.
If you are against a Midrange Tempo deck this could be an instant board win, but otherwise its over kill against most aggro decks (turn 8 still alive? you probably already won) and Control decks youd be lucky to have a decent target 90% of the time, especially without previous damage investment.

might support the trash package in CW

Meh.
Release the Kraken!
This would have no real place in an odd deck at this cost. It belongs in a board control minion-based deck with strong rush minions playing for board.
I think this will require a very specific deck, but it has a lot of promise. There're a lot of good rush minions to buff in warrior.

This won't see much play at all. Really bad. Only in the greediest bookshop warrior this might stand a chance.
Bad=Slow. Slow=Bad
+400 dust. Until turn 7 8 a zoo would have finished 3 more games(my experience at a not very high rank)

It might work like this. In most current CW archetypes you'd be looking for Zilliax who comes with Rush anyway.
गञ्जा गञ्जा
the value is sick. I'm quite certain this will find a way into a deck.
/e: finally Countess Ashmore could find a place into a deck with Oondasta and this boy amongst Zilliax, Vicious Scalehide and the likes
There are plenty of weak statted late game cards in control decks. Dragoncaller Alanna, Ysera, Primordial Drake, Obsidian Statue, Azalina Soulthief, etc. You might need to do some damage to them first, but you can use Crowd Roarer to set it up and then follow it up with Akali, the Rhino.
Even at 7 mana would be terrible
This card would be perfect at 6 mana, really. Such a pity
I hope i don't pull this out.
7 mana gets it to OddWarr... Genn needs some love 2... :)
It’s no Oondasta
Even so it's out of the favored package
Rush has yet to prove itself.
But if this works a rush/overkill minion that buffs other rush cards will be powerful

This is what Rush needed in Warrior.
Just realized i can put this to my recruit warrior with devilsaurs and oondasta. and lich king. and 5 mana 3/6 beast deathrattle taunt.
True but Warrior does have buff spells
