Would be a lot more interesting if you could choose which one goes to your opponent. Missed opportunity, now it's sadface when you get this card from packs.
even if you could pick it'd still be pretty bad
hell, even if it was just discover a card for yourself and not your opponent, it still wouldn't be played. the only niche could be if you're tryna fill you opponent's hand to burn cards from their deck

I'm not saying it would be good :). It would be an interesting (/fun) card. It would be a more than decent arena pick in that case: good statline + draw a (good) card while giving your opponent a (bad) card.
What does zoo needs on curve? Stats. Does it have stats? Yes, a yeti in vanilla-test is pretty good.
Ability: It does not lose you one card. Which in zoo, its good, you often need fuel. on turn 4 your options are below average: 4-drop: zoo does not have any really statheavy 4-drops 3-drop: below par tap+1-drop (because you dont have 2 drop, if you include keleseth.) In fiction you can play double 1-drops, but one bigger body is better that 2 small considering plague, MCT and other counters.
"Give one to your opponent at random": it does not matter. You pick 2 average minions, or anything but a removal, and you are fine. Your opponent need pretty specific answers to deal with your board. One average minions does not boosts his chances. Or pick 2 garbage warlock spells/cards and you are fine.
I was so hyped by the preview art. I couldn't await the release of this. And now I got this... Such a dissapontment. :(
So in the best case you would pick two cards which are valuable for you but doesn't help the opponent. This will almost never happen. In general you'll give either your opponent a good card (if both cards picked are good), if both cards are bad you get trash that wastes your hand space and the "upside" of this minion didn't give you any value. And picking a good card and a bad card will combine the disadvantages of the previous two cases, if you get the bad card. Only if you get the good card and the opponent the bad, will give you value from it.
So in 3 of 4 cases this is a Chillwind Yeti with a drawback.
You could pick niche cards from the discover, since class cards get a bonus chance of appearing. Armor matters cards are going to be wasted on half the classes for example. Not something I intentionally put in a deck, but a fine pick given that it is a yeti.
Sooo... ok... seems that the card designers at blizzard have lost their last tiny little bit of shame and decided to directly steal the same meme card idea comming from TES: Legend ( search for "Mudcrab merchant") .
I think this card is better than it looks. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a competitive deck level card but it is better than Yeti. You can choose cards that are better for you than for your opponent. Also, You can have synergies with card that didn't start in your deck. Causing overdraw sometimes is fun, too.
For me this is I'll never craft it but won't be disappointed opening it it because it can be fun too fool around type of card.
ooofffff
If you would like to mill your opponent in this way, why not run King Mukla instead?
Fun but garbage
even if you could pick it'd still be pretty bad

Worse than Spellslinger.
I liked thepowrofcheese's version better. It was just as bad, but much funnier.
Yeti with discover
The Harbinger Celestia of this expansion.
Step 1. Play Griftah
Step 2. Griftah discovers Griftah and Griftah
Step 3. Opponent plays Griftah into Griftah, Griftah.
Step 4. Griftah, Griftah, Griftah, Griftah.
Step 5. Play Griftah?

Spellslinger v2.5
Its Battlecry should be: Discover a garbage. Throw this minion in.
I think it is really strong in zoo.

I think we just got the worse card in the set.
Oh the memes, the glorious memes!
I'd say zero chance this makes it into the meta, but will be hilarious to play around with if I get it from my packs.

How about: Discover a cancer. Give it to your opponent.
