Seems really good, would probably replace Dire Mole in non-hunter odd decks. If you're ahead on tempo then by the time the token comes out you've almost certainly got enough on board to deal with it immediately.
I mean, it is better in aggro than it is in control sadly, since you can trade the downside away much easier if you have a board.
With that being said: Unless your opponent is shaman, i would rather kill a flame imp and let them have their taunt than not having killed their flame imp.
Testing will have to show how big the downside actually is. It is most likely worse than giving them 5 health, but not everything has to be as busted as chow.
Could also be bad in aggro....
Just imagine and Odd Pally vs a even Pally. The odd one builds a board , and usually the even Pally try’s to aoe him down;
In the midgame ( t4 Pyro,Equality or Cons ) your are struggling to add something to the board after your clear ( to buff it with Spikeridged Steed maybe? ) .
And in the later stages of the game, you are probably more likely to develop something after your aoe , but you don’t always hold a cheap Taunt. Perhaps you ate low on HP and he saved a Leeroy or some burst ....
In both cases giving your opponent a free taunt can be devastating to your wr.
Never underestimate powerful 1 drops if my memory serves me correct
True, but a 1-mana 2/3 is no guarantee a card is good (cf Emerald Hive Queen and Gravelsnout Knight). In this case I wouldn't be surprised if giving the opponent a taunt to hide behind can do more harm than the extra stats do good.

True. But those cards effects are active while those cards are out hampering their stats. This is on par with Zombie Chow. And some other 1 drops I was referring to were Tunnel Trogg and Mana Wyrm*, but this card obviously pales in comparison to them.
*I know Mana Wyrm was nerfed to 2 mana I'm referring to previous metas
The downside is actually pretty big. Zombie Chow was good because there was no downside early in the game. This one creates a minion, that eventually you will need to take down, plus the opponent can make a use of it with numerous buff spells and minions.
Zombie chow comes from another era of hearthstone. The whole set of naxxramas is too strong nowaday
My first instinct was "this is a great aggro card", but it's pretty decent anti-aggro too... you drop that, the opponent zoolock can't drop imp... if you're a mage/druid, this+HP remove a 3hp minion on turn 2, and it might even survive to take another trade... staple card, will be everywhere for a while
They can still drop the imp because they have a 0/3 taunt to hide behind that the taskmaster can't even break in one hit.
With fungalmancer being as busted and prevalent as it is, I really don't like the idea of an anti aggro card giving them extra bodies, call me skeptical.

I swear it's like some people here have never played an aggro vs control matchup... Most of the time the game is decided on the first 2 turns: if aggro is allowed to gain board control and curve out, they chip at you enough to end the game by turn 5-6. I don't care that the 0/3 might be a Fungalmancer target on turn 5. By then I can play Dragon's Fury/Blast Wave/Swipe etc and I have saved myself potentially 6+ health by countering early minions.
Thank you, you get it. Most control decks play small/big aoe and cheap removals anyways and not many small minions, so the taunt usually won't be in your way. By the time this 1 drop dies, your hellfires, reckless fury, etc. are ready.
Seems really good. The other 1 mana 2/3 minions in standard have a bad effect. Yeah, we have another Zombie Chow at hand.
This is an autoinclude in every aggro deck and every keleseth deck.

Mechathun Druid Counter
Also, this card is good for generating an overkill target.

Now I need to find a way to fill my opponent's board with useless 0 attack minions.

Such a nice, fine balanced, card! The Flavour is also fantastic!

Zombie Chow is perhaps the best designed card in the entire game. It will be hard to top.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

this card is broken broken broken oh my god
Anyone else noticed that the troll girl has 5 fingers even though trolls are only supposed to have 3?
