It is convert and not deal damage so Molten Giant doesn't work .
If you heal yourself Molten Giant's cost will increase, if we say that for each damage you take the cost is reduced by 1, healing shouldn't affect the card, so i think he counts on how many health you lost.

Molten Giant doesn't actually work like that. For example, if you heal, it costs more mana, even though it's not like you're reversing the fact you took damage. It's only calculated based on your starting life total - current life total. As such, it should work.

Molten giant works purely on your current health vs your max health. Alex doesn't deal damage but it reduces the cost of molten if it reduces your health. Likewise any heal doesn't undo the fact you took damage originally, but still increases molten's cost.
what does this mean ? it means that Molten Giant doesn't actually care for the "DAMAGE" but for how many health you have right now, if we considered his cost will be reduced for each damage, then healing your hero should not increase his cost.
I wonder if a heal zoo paladin can work?
If it works that way, I think they should finally update the text of Molten Giant.
Your Hero will not have taken any damage, but I think the game will consider being at 1-life as having taken 29 damage.

THATS A REAL GREAT CARD
Healadin is gonna be real for good.
This card + Crystallizer will ensure Healing synergies to trigger, consistently and independently of the matchup.
Probably similar in style to Even Warlock.
+Molten Giant in Wild.
This thing goes straight up to my top tier hype list.

This is going to be fun!
This is amazing in wild!
10 mana, let's say that you have 10 life left. This + Fobridden Healing. 9 armor and 15 health.
