Judging from the reveal video if you overload once you get the attack buff for two turns so if you cast only one overload card this card basically becomes a pre-neft fiery-war axe and you get one extra 1 damage attack.
@Horkinger - That's how cards like Lava Shock - which use the same phrase "Overloaded Mana Crystals" - worked. They unlock the mana crystals that are locked this turn and as well as those that will be locked the next turn.
I voted bad since you generally want to have an early game weapon to control the board and remove 2 & 3 drops like fiery war ax of old. But maybe this can see play in a more agressive shaman as a 2 mana 6 dmg over 2 turns with burn spells.
All in all not too great though
This card can never be bad obviously because you put it in a deck which has a few overload cards for synergy. It's at least playable. Might become very good if we see more overload support. This will see play for sure.
Edit: Would be better if the indication that you will have overload next turn also counts for the buff.
It counts. Overloaded crystals count as overloaded on the turn a card with overload is played and on the next turn as well.
Are you sure about that? I mean, about the first part: "Overloaded crystals count as overloaded on the turn a card with overload is played"? Because I have my doubts about that...

You know that they have released a few 0 Mana damage cards, right?

Interesting. Do you have any official statement? Or are there any present overload benefitting cards that indicate that this mechanic is working that way?
Just because I understand the wording "while you have overloaded mana crystals" means only the turn after you overload them (i.e. when they actually are overloaded).
I want an official clarification regarding the subject as well.
3/3 for 2 sounds okay. However, King's Defender has never seen play (although that was at the time of an unnerfed Fiery War Axe ) (Kings Defender is a three mana weapon). Additionally, it is a two mana weapon that only has 3 attack, when you are suffering a drawback. Spirit Claws didn't see play either after it was upped to two mana, although the condition is more advantageous (a spell power minion) and not too difficult to meet. And to benfit of the attack buff you need to be overloaded three times and know in beforehand that you need to attack next turn.
All in all, I think the risk of having a 2 mana 1 attack weapon and other drawbacks is not outweighing the benefit of the potential 3/3 attack weapon for two mana. I voted bad.

It could have lots of impact in even shammy vs odd rogue, which is an awful and common match up. Plenty of three health minions that can run rampant while he keeps your board clear. I'd rather take damage and kill SI agents or fledglings then let them snowball. Assuming odd rogue still looks similiar and is played after the expansion.
No idea why many people are saying this ain’t great in Aggro and that it’s a control card, this is straight up an aggro card, most of it’s play will be seen in those kind of decks especially in Wild.
Crackle, Totem Golem, Bolt, Jade Claws, Spirts, etc.. Aggro runs lots of Overload cards (Even tho Aggro doesn’t want to Overload argument) Aggro Shaman has always run a few of them.
It's generally bad to be overloaded, which makes me think this card isn't good.
That said, overload buys you tempo on the turn you play it. If you have this card on the turn you overload, you can further push that tempo. And it helps buy back some of the tempo you lose on your overloaded turn.
I'm still skeptical, but Thunderhead and zap are legit cards. Seems totally in line with what Even shamans wants to be doing.
I don't share all the hype for this card. It's said that it has 3 attack ONLY when you have overloaded crystals. So for this to be 2 mana 3/3 you have to play cards with overload for three turns (one of them inbefore you equip this weapon), and I don't see THAT much of overload cards in competitive shaman decks. It is very situational card at best.

+1 for the name.

But you usually don't want your crystals overloaded
It's Spirit Claws 2 Overload Boogaloo

Nice frog. Overall VERY nice weapon
+1 for the art. ;)
This is a really strong card. I hope it won't make the reign of even shaman in wild continue - but for now this is what it looks like.
you I had to lick it to em
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.

Arfus li(c)kes it ...

Referred to the preview art as ‘Orgasm Frog’. Found out it was called ‘Lick em’...
Anyway solid in the right decks.
