Great card. Imo better than spirit claws. Will be a great fit in even shaman if we get more good even cost overload cards or maybe even in some kind of new overload control shaman with Snowfury Giant. Really looking forward to seeing that archetype make a comeback. And of course there is a possibility for aggro shaman making a comeback if we get some strong early game minions.
The one and only card which made Aggro Shaman so strong was Tunnel Trogg (along Totem Golem and the pre-nerf iterations of Rockbiter Weapon <in case of Doomhammer>, Tuskarr Totemic and Spirit Claws). I fail to see how that archetype would become competitively viable again considering the weak early game Shaman is suffering from. See, the best possible 1-drop has been Fire Fly for more than one and a half years... and Even Shaman doesn't even run Zap! regularly, which is the only viable card to trigger Likkim when it matters (early on). And slow Overload Shaman is just outdated in such a tempo-driven game.
Edit: Would be better if the indication that you will have overload next turn also counts for the buff.
It counts. Overloaded crystals count as overloaded on the turn a card with overload is played and on the next turn as well.
Are you sure about that? I mean, about the first part: "Overloaded crystals count as overloaded on the turn a card with overload is played"? Because I have my doubts about that...
They explain it quite clearly in the reveal video for this card. You equip and cast overload spell, then weapon goes to 3/3 for that turn and the next.
Too late bro, Flay_Wind already showed me the video on the previous page. ;)
Forgot to comment on this card - for me this is meta-defining. It won't see any play in wild even shaman, because the jade package is stronger, but in any other deck that features a handful of overload cards, this weapon is amazing. Shudderwock shaman desperately needed more early game removal and this weapon offers it.
This can also be included in aggressive decks as cheap face damage, so in wild Tunnel Trogg might make a comeback.

What do you mean come back ? Plebs all play even shaman but aggro/overload shaman never left in Wild. Tunnel trogg is still to this day the strongest 1 drop in the game and has a great deck, which is indeed improved by Likkim.
I don't see even shaman ignoring Likkim though, you don't have to replace jade claws, Likkim is just too good and I imagine even shaman can handle 4 weapons in the 2 mana slot just fine
1) Well, yeah, I will never deny that Tunnel Trogg is the best 1-drop in the game. I don't play much in wild, but I mainly see Even and Shudder shaman, sometimes Jade shaman as well. None of them play this card and I was a bit curious about why we don't see many aggro shaman decks as we used to. Some websites don't mention aggro shaman as well (hstopdecks, tempostorm, vicioussyndicate). By "making a comeback" I meant how this archtype will be popular again and how Tunnel Trogg's popularity will increase.
2) I would agree with your statement, but I have a question - what cards would you cut in favour for the weapon?
Keep in mind, that the number of overload cards should be such, that we can consistently make Likkim a 3/3 weapon. Not to mention, that we can't really play it, while we have already equipped Jade Claws. If I have 1 durability on the claws and I play Likkim, I will kinda lose the value of the prior weapon.
This card is busted in aggressive shells.
Meta defining for sure.
I think it will end up being too awkward to use and too inconsistent.
so this + zap on turn 2 is gonna be really sick. I am scared

Bad . Can’t really control the damage. And you don’t want overload
Likkim? I barely know him!
Even shaman with this seems really good, and w/ thunderhead theres a good amount of overload synergies you could run.
