Will have same problem all other paladin heal matter cards have. It wont trigger if your opponent dont damage you if their playing combo deck or it will only trigger late game were the stats doesn't matter that much if their control. Or vs aggro they kill you before you can heal 10 and use its battle cry. I also cant see how you heal 10 before turn 4.
Paladin can damage themselves with a weapon (hopefully a new one this expansion), besides you need this card earlier against Aggro, and they do damage you, against Control you can play it later, a 4 mana 8/8 is always dangerous. And Crystalsmith Kangor helps with the heal. I hope the Paladin Spellstones become useful now, I always loves those, but they were so bad compared to the others.
It Looks like they're going for Buffadin more than just control with Immortal Prelate, the new Spirit and Loa. Enough healing tools and a wide range of cards that already are great for Buffadin like Lynessa, heck maybe even Glass Knight despite i still think its made of glass entirely
It's a shame that DK Uther is rotating soon (well, in half a year). The lifesteal from his weapon helps activate this pretty easily in the late game if you still haven't healed the 10. Definitely a solid card. Maybe Blackguard can actually fit in somewhere now haha.

Not necessarily. Hooked Reaver requires you to be under 15 health when you play it. This one only requires you to restore 10 health during the current game and, from that point onwards, it's always active.
But heal can be difficult when you are playing against a aggro deck(since its a lost of tempo) and Hooked Reaver is easy to activate, and against another control deck your opponent will probably not damage you that much, but with Reaver you can always tap.
Good card, wrong class. It would be extremely powerful in Warlock, Shaman, or Priest, but, as we saw with the paladin spellstone, paladin healing isn't always easy to achieve..
because the paladin champion has something to do with healing and maybe enables all the bad "healdin"-themed cards...
this card is easily overhyped if I look at the votings... restoring health is a pain in the ass vs control/combo decks and too greedy vs aggro... healind needs more cards like Crystallizer to get some value out of the medicore heal-cards
This is worse than Hooker Reaver, simply for the fact Reaver is great against aggressive decks., it can easily be a 4 mana 7/7 on turn 4. This one is much worse against aggro and I doubt it will ever be a 4 mana 8/8 at turn 4. And against control it won't matter too much. Paladin needs some good early game healing cards to make this a strong card.
it's like a worse hooked reaver. Doesn't do squat in control matchups.
Why do they insist on giving Paladin heal synergy when healing is one of the most ineffective and anti-tempo action in the game.
So just because it's no good for control matchups, there's no reason to play it? Control paladin needs to beat aggro too and this is amazing at stabilizing after you've popped some heals. You can throw in the DK for late game win condition if you don't like the control matchups.
restoring to minions is much harder than to hero, if a deck arises that uses this card I guess crystalizer is a good card to include with this card..
it's so annoying for paladin that the healing synergy is bad cause you need something to heal.. and in some match ups you don't have that something to heal
Man, I just love cards which are good even if the effect doesn't trigger. In this case, it's ok to play a 4/4 on turn 4 against a control deck and if you happen to trigger the effect, it's gonna be an amzing play.
I'm calling it, the legendary paladin card is going to make healing a thing
Crystalizer Paladin

Lol, another 4 mana drop for paladin. My deck contains 10 cards with 4 mana cost already. Maybe make a deck where all cards cost 4 mana? Hm...
Legit
Shirvallah has Lifesteal bois. Also Uther, and Pally got Time Out. I see something building up here.
Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!

Control Paladin needs a win con? oh jeez where can i find one? how about an OTK win con?
"death was merely a setback"; But how in Paladin?;
"no peace, no rest"; If only there was a paladin class card that can make an OTK mmhhh;
"azeroth will be purified"; Nothing comes up;
"the time has come! I return"" Anybody else?
It needs a good win condition :)
Does not say “to your hero.”

Im assuming its just player health, but it doesnt specify, if it includes minion health it might be viable
Bad thing you can't drop it before turn 4 or even 6.
