*holds vote until we see some dragons* It is a great card and all but it really depends if the cards gets some dragon support because the lack of dragons in the Year of the Ravens makes most of the dragon synergy cards worthless (like the cards that Hunter and Paladin got in Witchwood)
Hmm, I'm rethinking this, at least for right now. There aren't really any good Odd-cost Dragons in standard that would make "if you're holding a Dragon" synergy viable. You've got alexstraza, Ysera, ....and then what? From my past Dragon/"If you're holding a Dragon" deck days, you generally need 6 to 8 Dragons minimum to make the synergy consistent.
We'll see. I hope this isn't simply a "well it will be good at some point, but not right now" kind of card.
Here is my take using the two dragons you mentioned, along with 2 amalgamations and 2 Cobalt Scalebanes

Ysera seems good to me, a classic of control decks. Sleepy Dragon is at least a big taunt. Oddly enough, perhaps Marsh Drake. Seems like it'd be a cool combo with Supercollider. Your opponent wants to get cute, just leave one thing on board against Supercollider? Give them a poison minion, and smack them together. Many of the Doctor Boom hero powers could deal with the Drakeslayer. Since a lot of the dragons will stick in the hand until needed, that might be enough.
But is this 7 card package (two Smolderthorn Lancer, two Sleepy, two Marsh Drake, one Ysera) really better than 7 cards you could already be running?
In a vacuum, seems like a lot of work to get a 1 mana 3/2 body slapped onto your Execute.
It does give Execute to odd warrior though, obviously that 1 mana 3/2 is good tempo in a dragon deck, and overall there might be some occasions where you just want Execute 3 and 4 in the deck.
Like everybody said: good card for Dragon Warrior in wild... Also worth noticing that in 1 year since I start playing wild, I've never met one of them, and I doubt that this will be the card that will change it...
Hopefully they print other Dragon cards for this expansion to make this viable. As Kaladin said, this could be an Execute for Odd Warrior or a Vilespine Slayer, to be more apt. Not that the deck needs more hard removal, but removal with a body is too nice to pass up.
I don't know why people are surprised about a dragon, it was already mentioned that the Warrior champion had a connection with the black dragonflight and used to be employed by it.
2 conditions is too much in my opinion. Sure the effect is strong but once you compare it to Vilespine Slayer it looks pretty weak and conditional.
I dont see warrior replacing Execute in normal decks and whether odd warior wants to run this plus dragons seems questionable to me (imo there are currently no dragon cards odd warrior would benefit of).
The dragon synergy in warrior has been dead for a while... it's either very strong within this expansion, or needs to build up again between expansions
Mech synergies are better at the moment due to dr boom and dyn-o existing. Also, dyn-o is safer overall since it comboes really well with your aoes and collider.
Honestly, i could see this more in a dead mans deck than in (recruit) edit: odd, dunno why my brain farted here warrior, as execute can be too light on tempo with the nerf, and that deck runs a lot of whirlwinds.
Dyo can combo well with this card though. CW 3 drop options arent much. Stonehill defender is the best atm but if this card have enough support I can see this one take stonehill's place. Vs control deck this card can apply some pressure turn 3 unlike stonehill. We shall see
Is it a RANDOM enemy minion who's damaged, or is it targeted?
Doesn't seem too shabby, a nice form of removal for a Dragon based Warrior deck that might emerge sometime soon. 2/3 Alextrasa's Champions.

Not really, every card has more support in wild. I'd bet that it's better in standard.

Has to be rated meta defining as it creates a good reason to build a deck (dragon warrior).

Amazing card all around. In constructed it could bring dragon warrior back into the spotlight.
However, in arena, if it does in fact trigger (think of Vilespine Slayer) the tempo gain might just flat out win the game sometimes.
Really great card, will have to see how it performs.

I don't like this card.
Damaged condition = ok.
Dragon condition = ok.
Stats penaulty for one special effect = ok.
All 3 at the same time = not ok.
Will see 0 play.

play dragons, get double the executes. Seems great!
It'll work just like dragon paladin

Card is great, but they need to add more dragons
Smolderthorn Trolls are supposed to have green skin, not blue. They are Forest Trolls. Why can't you follow your own lore, Blizz?
