Yup - it's good. It's not Defile good...but it isn't terribly far off of that.
Couldn't say it better myself. Though this is the case if you can sacrifice a small and a worthless token. If you discard a taunt or some other kind of removal, just because it has the lowest cost, then this card screws you. But overall I think it will be just like you said.
You basically lose a card for no advantage whatsoever !
And don't even try to argue about things like quest.
Why not? Discardlock has many advantageous discards in wild including Silverware Golem and Fist of J. Also being able to control what you discard allows you to discard Clutchmother over and over. Just because you don't like the archetype doesn't mean it can't be viable.
