For everyone saying Odd Mage, you then can't play the spirit, which is easily the best way to trigger the Rag effect consistenly. The value is there but I don't see any deck being meta with this in it, too inconsistent in Odd or just weak in regular decks.
Have you played any Odd Decks? You tend to use your HP at least 4 times...cuz, ya know, that's the entire reason you're only using odd cards...
I actually don't think the Spirit is all that good.
Not playing the spirit is not a big deal I think. Odd Mage means you only need to fire 4 times to trigger it (not counting any enhancers like the 1 mana card). With a hero power like that that's not a real punishment and the 3 mana 3/4 that draws you a card when killing with your hero power is really good to go with it.
I played around with Odd Mage a bit at high rank last month and it's actually a decent deck, borderline playable. With some extra support (like this card) it can be a good tempo deck that has Jaina DK to close down some later games.

Spiteful Summoner summoning Rag is nice, but I'm not sure how many pings you're going to be able to do (and not die) before turn 7
it's damage dealt, you can use spirit of the dragonhawk to do a lot of damage and there's also daring-fire eater that meks hp do more damage and in wild you get Fallen Hero
Odd Mage Synergy, summoning Ragnaros is cool but less powerful than it originally was because of all the removal we have now, and it seems like an easy condition to reach but I wish the effect was a little more unique.

Odd Mage can deal 2 damage per Hero power, it won't be that hard to get to 8.

the hero power + Daring Fire-Eater will make half the way to ragnaros.

Think you need to put your ego in your pocket and try to be more critical with facts and not insults.

Since it reads "this game" I would assume it triggers even if it's in the Deck.... Can anyone confirm that? Because if that's the case this card will certainly be a day one craft for me.... Well,it'll probably be even if it doesn't,I love the art and the animation...

It's clear that you don't understand why 4 pings is not a difficult thing to accomplish. So I guess we're both ignorant and egotistical. Let's both put them in our pockets.
l thought this was 8 damage on a single turn and thought it was terrible, but 8 damage with hero power throughout the game? and one totem, fire-eater, heropower combo is 9 damage for 5. This will be nuts as long as you take plenty of heropower cards
Big mage? You're already using your power a lot to make water eles after you DK, now you also get another finisher that triggers off of that. Seems alright.

Idea for Wild: Build a deck around Jan'alai with Brann Bronzebeard and Drakkari Enchanter. Get one tick on all three with Emperor Thaurissan and play Brann, Jan'alai, and Drakkari Enchanter on 10 mana. Two Ragnaros the Firelord with two 8 damage blasts each.
