Something about that sad smirk tells me this is an Adam Sandler reference. Too bad it doesn't say 'your next hero power costs 0', though, so you could save it for later.
Waterboy is a very small tempo boost on top of your hero power, so it’s hard to imagine wanting to spend a card on it. Maybe it’s good in an aggro deck that wants to use its hero power a lot. If Even Pirate Rogue becomes an archetype, maybe this makes the cut to re-up your daggers on turn 2? Or a face hunter deck that wants to go face and get tempo?
The only way I see this card being very good is in Tempo Rogue or with that new hero power Mage archetype they are focusing on this set, but other than that it's basically useless, a worse fencing coach.
If it just said "the next hero old power you use cost 0" so that way you could play this card one turn and get a free hero power on another, now that would be something.

Hi i'm Tyler and I play hearthstone and watch anime.
Sometimes i make cards. I'd like to do that for a career one day if ever possible.
it would be played in Shaman decks in general. play Waterboyand totem that's 2 bodies on the board. which can be used with shaman Thrall, Deathseer or possible Zentimo OTK shenanigans.
worst cases scenario used as a tempo filler card that helps fight for board. (if you have a slot for it)
I don't get where people get the idea from that this is any good?
2/1 body for 2 mana is terrible stats so we would expect a good effect. You only get one heropower discount and on the same turn as you play it - compare this to Kobold Librarian which have the same effect if you choose to use this in Warlock, but you get it for 1 mana instead of 2.
I can't justify giving this card a slot in any deck - would rather just play my heropower for 2 mana and have 2 more usefull cards in my deck.
The only way I see this card being very good is with that new hero power Mage archetype they are focusing on this set.
why would they play this? spending 2 mana to make a 2 mana hero power cost 0 does not help your hero power. the only thing different from playing this and then hero, or just hero powering is the 2/1 body. and i dont think that will matter much in control mage.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
This card is so garbage, what's worse is that it's in so many rumble runs decks... playing it just feels so weak compared to any other play.
It's actually kind of decent in some of the rumble run decks. With Gonk's Armaments, you can essentially use it as a way to stock up a mana refresh. What I mean by this is that you can play a bunch of stuff and water boy, gain armor not via hero power, then play a bunch more stuff to use all your mana, hero power, then play a bunch more stuff. Granted it's not great in a lot of the decks that don't focus on the hero power, but with shrines that can synergise with it, it's pretty good.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.

Could possibly work in a ZooLock deck post Keleseth if you're looking to get a 2/1 body on 2 without skipping your draw. I doubt it though

just tested it out only costs zero once could've had potential... T . T
Well it says "your next hero power"
Why would it cost 0 more than once?
Obviously this is just a tech card for Wild, to counter all the decks running Saboteur.
