 I don't think that's how the card would work.  Skulking Geist doesn't destroy those cards, I don't see why this card should draw them.

I don't know how good this card will be, but the time argument seems misplaced.

I appreciate that the meta is pretty slow right now, but I think the slow factor is still relevant, especially if the new expansion brings new aggro decks. There's a set up that has to happen, followed by playing Bwonsamdi, the Dead and subsequently playing these discounted minions. That kind of set up requires drawing into a lot of pieces, which means you're probably not going to consistently be playing Bwonsamdi on curve. If the combo doesn't do something impressive, maybe you'd be better of not doing it.

 It is obviously completely crappy card no matter what support it gets in next reveal. I think we are playing HS long enough to see that this card cannot be played. Even Ysera is way better that this but too slow. This is so slow it cannot be ever played in any meta. Tol bad Team5 probably don't know that.

Think about it like abiut much worse Subject 9 which is played only in one deck.

Okay dude.  Sometimes cards are so good they make bad cards playable by extension (see: Baku and Genn). 

Am I the only one who's thinking this is a great fit for inner fire or APM priest???

• A draw engine for an Aggro Priest deck. This is kind of interesting, but by turn 7 your aggro deck is either already about to win or has lost the game, so drawing a bunch of 1-Cost minions is either unnecessary, or will be too little, too late.
• Some new OTK Priest deck. A lot of people are talking about Star Aligner, but that requires successfully playing two Star Aligner's with a Spirit of the Dead, getting them killed before the spirit dies, and drawing into a singleton card to pull off the combo. Seems like a fun meme, but a hard puzzle to put together. (Yes, the spirit has stealth, but it's still vulnerable to AOE effects.)
• A value/draw engine with Spirit of the Dead. This seems like the most practical, as getting any massive discount on a minion is great. Academic Espionage has been surprisingly viable, but a big part of that is being able to draw those cheap cards. Relying on a single legendary minion to draw those cards probably isn't good enough, so you'll need a fair amount of card draw in addition to him. It might work with deathrattle synergies, though, thanks to cards like Reckless Experimenter along with Dead Ringer and Loot Hoarder enabling you to use the spirit to cycle to your big draw engine and repopulate your deck with future cycle tools.

Ultimately, to me Bwonsamdi, the Dead seems like a playable, but not critical card, in a deathrattle synergy deck that wants to use Spirit of the Dead for extra value. The spirit is where the value really is, and Bwonsamdi is just icing on the cake. And I think that's a good thing - the game should be enriched by the powerful effects of legendary cards, but it shouldn't hinge on them.

 I think you forgot the most obvious use.

A 7 mana 7/7 that draws 0-5 cards in quest priest or other control build (2x northshire cleric 2x oracle 1x chameleos).

It's like a super ancient of lore, because all of these 1 drops may cause huge impact even on the late game, it's not like drawing a bunch of argent squires/leper gnomes/ etc
