If Tar Creeper is a meta-defining card (played in constructed here and there) and I consider it one, than this will be meta defining as well, filling the same role.
This looks like a really good card. Imagine playing this in wild against Pirate Warrior.

The best way to actually do something well is have no idea what you're doing. Then what you're doing will become what you have no idea you're doing, at which point since you're doing what you're doing without knowing what you're doing you're doing what you're doing without knowing you're doing it.
It's got five stats, so a good 2 drop off the bat. But then it has 4 health, which means it's one of the stickiest 2 drops. Annnd, it has taunt. Lol
The +1 attack is just a bonus. This is the best neutral 2 drop for anti aggro.
Everyone is saying stonehill and tar creeper are better, but they don't drop until turn three. That means your opponent also has 3-4 Mana to clear it. Getting the taunt down one turn earlier will save you a fair bit of health and actually buy you a turn. No reason you can't also drop tar creeper next turn.
I think this will see play in a lot of decks, and after rotation will be in most slow meta decks.
It's okay, don't think it's anything special though. Vulgar homonculus is only played because it upgrades spellstone and is a taunt summon from gul'dan in evenlock, two very important traits. It was never seen in meta before that because it just doesn't have enough impact.
Not really. If Vulgar in other class it will be in most deck. In case of Warlock, Zoo run Prince 2 so this card is out. Control Warlock want to summon Voidlord/Doom so this card is also out, not because it doesnt good but a deck only have 30 card and Controlock has strong aggro game already they do not need this.
yah new card Think this would be really nice as some early taunt against aggro, especially after rotation when Tar Creeper leaves standart
Exactly. This is the 2 mana Tar Creeper, although it's much worse with it's restriction.
So while Tar Creeper is just a good card, period, Belligerent Gnome is specifically an anti-aggro tech card, and is much worse when going first than when going second.
It's a good card, not every card needs to be meta defining or featured in a T1 deck. This is a good card for a new player to have in their fairly limited collection when they first start.
Think about when you first started this game, or any game. And every new card is a cool upgrade. This would be in that boat for a new player to get in a pack.
It would also be a pretty good pick in Arena if you had this as the best of a bad 3.
As for you guys feeling sad for the other cards..
1- Silverback Patriarch is a free card. Not a rare. The rare quality means this Gnome is allowed to be better.
I would be more concerned about the lack of Odd cost cards we have seen revealed. Do you think they are trying to nerf odd decks by releasing a lot more even cost cards?
Given that not even one-sixth of the xpac's cards have yet been revealed, I wouldn't be concerned with this.

Could be printed as a Priest card and I don't think it will see less play. Not even sure it will see *any* play, but if it does, Priest is the class.
Might show in some decks such as tempo rogue/even shaman/zoo warlock. It protects some other troops like Lightwarden and Vicious Fledgling
Not sure if hyped yet.
Considering the meta is always flooded by aggro decks this card is good.
Great card. How ppl vote this bad lol.

Twilight Geomancer never saw play even in C'thun decks, so I don't think it would be playable without the upside.
I don't think you have faced off against (or played) Odd Paladin very much.
All the 0,00001% players who use lady in white cheers out in the open!
This card is gonna make it into even decks.
