We actually have a convenient way to give it rush with Rocket Boots. Looks slow with 6 mana cost and clunky with 2 card combo but... There are also Goblin Prank but I fail to see hunter playing that kind of combo.
I think this card has some potential in dedicated midrange pirate deck if that will be a thing. Need to see more
Midrange decks need much stronger minions on turn 4. 3 health is simply far too weak, and the 5 attack + effect is not enough to compensate.

Yes, one needs strong pirate synergies to consider playing 5/3 body. But there are a good chance that we'll get that in rogue. Imagine this with... hmmm 2/1 1 mana pirate with combo give another pirate rush?
I'd say there are 95% that we won't see that being played anywhere and 5% that it may emerge in a pirate deck if that is pushed hard by blizzard.
If you play this on 4 most minions are going to die if this hit them. If it hits a more aggressively stated 4 drop or most any 3 drop it's going to be over-killed. Sure ticket scalper dies as well but you will get to draw 2 cards as well. I imagine overkill will activate if an opponent attacks into him which means unless the enemy has some removal spell then they'll have to attack with something with 5 or more health or they are just giving you 2 cards along with probably a 1 for 1 trade.
Could be really good in standard depending on pirate synergies
yeah, as said, the bottom line is that a 3-health body is too weak against almost any deck, whereas 4 or 5-health (and less attack, then) would've made this viable.
I find it a little forced to try and find combos for a card that simply doesn't cut it.
I am not a game designer but I gotta say I don't get why you would create these filler cards. I guess that's another discussion. edit: of course if there's a "Give your Pirates charge" type of card in the upcoming expansion, then yeah cool this works.
Arena. Not all cards are designed for competitive constructed play. Most of what players call "pack filler" is what experienced arena players get excited about.
Wait so does the Overkill tag mean "whenever YOU Overkill any minion draw 2 cards" or "whenever you Overkill any minion WITH THIS CARD draw 2 cards"? Cause I mean, if it's the former and you can drop this minion, do some trades and overkill and draw cards with your existing resources then the card's OP or close to it... If it's the latter then it's pretty bad but will see play due to the Pirate Tag and potential if it survives,
"Overkill works only during your turn. If there’s a minion with Overkill and opponent trades into it on his turn, the Overkill won’t trigger even if the above condition is met."
Can see play... I can see this happening easily : play a taunt turn 3 (like Creep) then this one turn 4...chances to activate overkill is totally possible.

Maybe with oaken summons in mill druid?
To mill yourself? You mean Mecha'thun or some other combo druid, right?

It's a decent card, I think. Probably gonna be better for the Arena.
You mean it's a 3/6 with taunt, deal 5 dmg to a 4hp minion, draw 2 cards.
:)

no you mill your own deck so you can tog + aza
Dat flavor is just right.
With 3 health its a bit too easy to kill on the turn it's played.
I see it as another card which will be targetted early and could be used as a soft taunt.
Rusty Recycler
Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.
Do we know if overkill works in defence? Surely it can't.

Calling it now, Pirate Rogue is tier 1. Blackguard Paladin will also be tier 1.

Could be interesting with windfury, or buffs, but it'd need to survive first of course.

Ignore this post, I need to sleep. :P :P :P
Voted bad. Might see play though as a 29th - 30th card in a pirate deck.
