Seems the Powerlevel of this Expansion is really high, this might be the right way. Cause many Players lose the fun on HS, so maybe with this high quality cards we get the fun back. The Card sounds pretty nice vs Combos but it destroy your deck too! So thats an issue i think, we can calm down.
I don't think this card can be any good other than specific decks to destroy combo decks. I mean it's practically 8 mana do nothing for now. It's weak if you draw this when you want a Twisting Nether to destroy your aggro opponent. Also it's possible that you destroy your own Bloodreaver Gul'dan or you fail to destroy the right ones since it's also based on RNG, so it's a risky play. I will craft it, though, because I like anti-combo warlock. :P
At best, I feel like this card would only serve as a tech choice for very specific warlock decks; maybe run one in evenlock. I guess it could also see play with Mecha'thun assuming you already drew him.
It's basically just a middle finger to combo decks :P
Eight mana, do nothing. Warlock already has ways to ruin combo decks that are far cheaper and aren’t strict mirror cards. Plus, control Warlock has some key cards they can’t burn either.
this seems real bad but apparently a lot of people are all over this card. I don’t get it.
Dont think so...turn 8 you are against a combo deck and things are not looking good for you....you are likely going to lose....drop the card opponent loses half of this deck. nothing changes? Turn 8 you probably drew a lot of your cards already so say you lose 8 cards like your opponent? Except that opponent's deck is totally useless now and yours if well built has more value...
You people understand that they print some cards with the intention of nerfing them mid-expansion, right? This gives them a bump in sales when the meta shifts. Last time it was Giggling - the even mocked everyone when they said it was "one of the most powerful and popular" cards ever printed. These people know exactly what they are doing.

They better have more cards that add cards to your deck or let you bring back cards you previously lost. It will be interesting to see how warlock wins with half their deck gone. But I'm sure someone will find a way to make sure they always get the cards they need for their deck.
Definitely not healthy. If combo decks are a thing this meta, this card creates more Rock Paper Scissors matchups, with Warlock being the ultimate anti-combo class.

It is concerningly devastating. It isn't guaranteed to actually ruin the opponent's combo though, but the deciding factor there is randomness which is not great.
Why would you pay 8 mana to do nothing regarding the current board state and blow up half of your own deck just to pray that your opponent didn't already draw most, if not all of the necessary cards to finish you off? Sounds really unreliable to me and definitely not worth a deck slot in Ranked mode except for narrow portions (e.g. if high legend is full of Combo Druids). Versus Aggro it's terrible and in a Control mirror it might backfire quite hard.
I'm wondering how good that even is against combo decks. By 8 mana a combo deck has already drawn half the deck, and if you burn Gul'dan you lose the card that really enables control lock to work in the late game.
Maly druid is really flexible in how it executes a combo and they draw a lot. You'd have to be pretty lucky to hit Malygos AND floop and the florist, and enough of their spells to kill the burn, and even then that deck can pull some alternate win conditions if it has a good start.
Against shudderwock, you have to hit shudderwock for one thing, and you need to hit both grumble and zola. Because if they have just one of them they can still combo. I've beaten plenty of control locks after having my grumble burned just with the zola battlecry, because they don't pressure. If you end up killing your Gul'dan they can sometimes just out value you.
It's also so much worse against other archetypes than Gnomeferatu and Demonic Project. Against aggro this is 8 mana do nothing, i mean zoo burns through its deck with taps quite fast and Rogue literally plays a card that kills their own deck. Gnomeferatu is still a decent body that could burn a nice card, and demonic project can hit an important aggro card thats sitting in the hand for a while (leeroy, fungal, vilespine, etc).
All in all it's probably the most likely tool to win you a game against combo, but the worst card overall.

So you spend 8 mana ro do nothing
This is the definition of meta-defining

quite a few people say the same about combo decks in general

Hard to imagine this seeing wide spread and regular play because of how bad it is against aggro, tempo and most midrange decks.
It isn't even an auto win against combo decks as they might already have pieces in hand/in the rest of the deck.
I imagine it will probably show up here and there though given combo decks have been very strong, could maybe be a strong tech card.
Theoretically, this could also enable some disgusting combo deck, maybe one that uses fatigue.
2 star card

why.... WHYYYYYY
with this card every none aggro deck in hearthstone will forever vanish... well Vs warlocks at least

More polarizing insta win or dead in hand and never played strategies. Exactly what the game needed.
Best comment ever LOL. Made my day...
