Sure this card is weak to silence, but so were Voidlord and Lackey. This card is awesome. It's synergy with Call to Arms is really the kicker. Even if this is the only 2-mana minion in your deck, you'd gladly pay to recruit it with buffs.
Seems fantastic. People argue that silence kills the buff strategy, but I think those people forget just how many silence targets there are in Buff Paladin. There is the regular stuff like Spikeridged Steed and Tirion, and then there is Lynessa x2 thanks to Zola, Sound The Bells x2, and possibly more. Saving your silence for exactly these guys is going to be harder than you think.
Quick note: confirmed by Blizz dev on reddit that Divine Shield will not be kept unless it dies through a "destroy" effect rather than through combat (such as Vilespine). This makes it worse.

Consistency: "it keeps any enchantments". Small indie company.
My logic is that the new minion is getting all the buffs spells gave the original minion, except for the "draw a card" because it's not an enchantment. Blizzard's logic is that it keeps only enchantments that it had when it died, so the divine shield is in most cases not included. Sad.
Disappointing that it won't keep divine shield typically but it will still be a force to be reckoned with. Even with Kings, you are getting a 2 mana 5/7 card that keeps coming back.
Currently there is no way to tutor this card specifically, unlike Kingsbane Rogue, and to a lesser degree, Astral Tiger Druid...and we all know how successful Astral Tiger Druid was. There is no way to give this minion Charge (currently) so at best I think this is just a cheap pile of stats.
Won't see play IMO. Neat idea though.
edit: forgot about Call to Arms but if you want to go that route, it means you're:
Running enough 1 and 2-drops such that you get actual value from CTA but aren't actually playing them on curve
Or in that case, you're running enough 1 and 2-drops such that CTA won't consistently tutor Prelate
Only running CTA in conjunction with Prelate so you guarantee the pull.
Which then means you're likely to be holding CTA in hand for a long time just to get value, and that means you're running a card intended to be proactive but is actually a dead card for a while.
This may be viable in some control deck that simply removes threats in the early game, then plays Prelate + buffs + Faceless Manipulator, then uses CTA to bring them back out, but I pose the question - is that really better than Tirion, Lich King, Tarim, etc, or Kangors Endless Army?

here you are wrong, there are 3 tutors currently: witchwood piper, call to arms and crystalize(2 mana draw 2 1 attack minions) you can give this taunt though(spikeridge steed) and there could be a way to give it life steal somehow
about silence.. you run 2 copies of this minion and lynessa on that deck also most people run one silence

If you buff it, does it still count as a 1-attack minion when it's reshuffled into your deck?

Almost certainly not. Though with that much tutoring going on your deck should be pretty thin. We'll see though.

I don't know if it's better. But I'll play with it :) But it has potential.
Realistically how many enchantments do you think you'll get to put on this guy and re-play it before the game's over?
Let me put it another way - how much play does Dire Frenzy see?
That is a fair point. I am hoping that this technique works better in Paladin because it's a class that has always focused on buffs, and there may just be the right draw tools to get this thing out again.
I could be wrong. But I'm optimistic. And I really, really want something new to work for Paladin.
The cool thing about this card is you can just play it on 2 if you want. Your opponent kills it and then you just redraw it with Witchwood Piper or pull it out with CtA. At some point they will have to silence it or it will bite you.

Vulnerable to silence but barring that, this card is nuts good. Looks like a perfectly good reason to finally craft Valynyr.

So barring silence you will never go to fatigue with one of these

I am glad they made common and not legendary it could very well be by Blizzard standards
The goal of all life is death.

If you manage to discount this with Emperor Thaurissan, you can consistently pull them with Small-Time Recruits and Witchwood Piper. Seems good and has my vote.

I cannot remember ever facing a deck using the similar Primalfin Champion, and have no reason to believe that I will ever encounter this card.
If Primalfin Champion kept all its buffs when it died, it would have been played.
Exactly.
You use Crystology to ensure you get this card out early. You buff it.
It dies? It's back in your desk, somewhere, and will return buffed. Then you buff it again.
You can use Call to Arms to get it back out. You keep buffing it.
It gets silenced? Unfortunate, but you have a second copy. And Lynessa. And Zola to copy Lynessa.
Bonus: it makes Quest Paladin viable, for the last opportunity before it rotates out in April.
Realistically how many enchantments do you think you'll get to put on this guy and re-play it before the game's over?

Everyone always views every card through the lens of "can i tempo my way to legend with it"
I like to play decks that are fun way more than i enjoy meta decks.
.....this card will be fun.
