This is one of the worst cards I have ever seen. Why is it that in Hearthstone, cards are printed with text that basically counters themselves? Have you ever noticed that it's the cards without any downsides or at least minimal risk that are what see play, while trash like this is forgotten? In Magic, WotC print cards that allow you to counter or answer anything in the game. I can't think of any card in MTGA where I thought, "that is terrible and it defeats itself." In Magic, when you see a card there is probably a place for it. Whether that place be competitive or budget lists. In Hearthstone though, we get actively bad cards that protect us from themselves and serve as nothing but filler. Maybe it's time to start printing good cards and good counters to those cards? Nah, this is Hearthstone and what would Hearthstone be without unplayable shit that shouldn't exist as it is.
This card is stupid bad. There may come a reveal that makes it better (playable) but right now, this may actually be the worst priest spell ever printed. Sure, the effect is powerful but the drawback is game throwing. Nobody wants to play a card that essentially just loses them the game and that's what this card does.
When we compare to the prince, for one less Mana you get half the effect with a 2/2 and effectively 0 drawback.
Blizzard printing this stupid card is such a massive nerf to Lyra that it makes me almost not want to play her. This is literally the first spell your actively hope to never see and if you do get it, you just won the crap lottery. Sure, there are bad spells you'd rather not have but this is on another level of terrible.
Unless priests get their own versions of wild growth, this card is unplayable. However, if priests do get ways to cheat more Mana crystals the way druids can, this card may find room in a deck. That's a pretty big if though.
I don't think people realize how much of a drawback that is. It's not like double Keleseth was ever a guaranteed win for anyone. COnsider as well that Priest so far does not have the drawing power of decks like Zoolock.
Will probably be experimented with and then dropped in favour of something more viable
I thought only warlocks (and in some cases druids) were supposed to lose their mana crystals like that. But nah, let's give specific keywords to other classes. I demand warriors get Chose one, mages get overload and paladins get combo.
Anyway, the "destroy your crystals" cards weren't played for a reason. They put you behind on tempo and didn't offer a good reward (Felguard). The punishment isn't bad in the late game, but then again a 3 mana 3/5 isn't that impressive either. This spell one won't be any different, since it destroys 3 whole mana crystals. Priest has to get a really broken draw card, which will enable this zoo arch-type. And I don't want to see more stupidly broken cards like Juicy Psychmelon.
+2/+2 to your whole deck screams that the card is for Aggro. But destroying 3 mana crystals means that you can't really play it in Aggro...
It could've been playable in a deck with a lot of cheap minions that draw cards. But most minions that draw cards cost 2 or 4, which means that you are either using Keleseth or 2 drops. And this card or 4 drops. Which probably means that the deck won't work.
Best case scenario I can see with this card is when you have it on the coin and play it when you only have 2 Mana crystals to destroy to help mitigate the drawback. Even then, it's pretty bad.
on turn 3 this is terrible unless you top deck a 1 mana minion which would be like a 3/4 which is less than what you will get for 4 mana, and on later turns +2/+2 on your minions doesn't matter much so i'd say its really bad
It's really slow, not to mention encumbering. Theoretically could get 4 (or more with Lyra) of these in a match, but you'd practically have to build a deck around their mechanic which would force an allowance for having less mana access. Dunno, remains to be scene tbh, I'm sure someone will figure out a powerful deck variant with this, though I'd imagine we should wait until more priest and neutral cards are visible.

Developed Hearthstone player, have played and beaten highly skilled opponents on numerous occasions. Not that ambitious on ladder. Only play off of win streaks. Love theory more than meta.

imagine using this against a druid. they're at like 8 mana on turn 4 and you have like one mana crystal.
Another memetastic tool for aggro priest!! :D
Then if you don't draw this or keleseth in your first few turns then your deck is all 1 mana trash minions. You won't be able to keep up.
Priest can get coins with the Gargoyle but meh
This space is intentionally blank.
Zoo Priest is a viable deck (at least for now) and with strong 1 and 2 drop cards, there's a chance this card could be insane.

So priest's sprite will be destruction of their own mana crystals for strong effect? Sounds interesting and cool.

Easy. Mind Vision into Biology Project/Floop spell. kappa.
tash... losing 3 mana crystals is game losing, its a tempo game after all
Well , guess we will see other cards then we will be able to define whether this goodie will play or not
